Every year on the 21st of May, the entire town gathers in the town square to 'celebrate' our King's victory over the neighboring countries.
Our King, King Garrison Greenwood, gave a brief PSA explaining situations in every major city and state.
Our Queen, Queen Rosalina Greenwood, told us how long until it would be safe to once again travel outside of our country.
And of course the two princes, Prince Derick and Prince Landon. They were just there to look pretty until one of them turned 18.
I myself don't pay attention to the broadcasts, or the royal family.
I just focused on surviving long enough to reach my 18th birthday. The day I would have to prove myself 'worthy enough' to serve my country.

Hey guys! This is my first real story that I have ever let people outside of my friend group read. I know that this is short, but it is only the prologue after all. Anyway, I hope that you all enjoyed these short introduction to the story, and I will continue writing really really soon, I swear!
