I was lying soundly in bed, staring at my ceiling. The light from the window, shining so brightly I could almost feel myself going blind.
My life was finally perfect, it was finally worth living, finally worth smiling every second of every minute.
I've improved so much over the years, after I lost Jungkook to that person in the alley my life has changed drastically.
Now of course I was sad about losing my best friend, the only person I cared about or loved at the time. He was everything to me and he just left like that. It took me a lot of time to get over, but I shouldn't start being sad. I know I'll never see him again so I should just try and enjoy my life the way it is. I have a beautiful girlfriend, a family who loves and cares for me, and a best friend. It's all I could have asked for.
I snapped back from my daze and threw the comforter off of my body quickly jumping out of bed.
I'm turning 23 today, and I get to spend it with the people I care about most. I get to spend it with the people that make me happy, the ones that finally pulled me out of my depressive state.
I hopped out of bed, scurrying to my closet trying to find something nice to wear. I looked through my closet, pulling out some ripped jeans and a lose yellow shirt, putting it on as fast as possible. I looked at myself in the mirror smiling brightly. I'm finally able to look at myself and smile, I'm finally able to love myself.
I walked out of my room heading towards the kitchen, grabbing some frosted flakes out of the pantry. I was eating the cereal straight out of the box until I decided I'd scroll through instagram. Not much had changed since yesterday, just a few more selfies of people I don't even know.
I closed instagram, as I was getting bored of it. I put the frosted flakes back when my phone started vibrating. I looked towards it and saw that Jennie had tagged me in a picture. I quickly grabbed my phone to pull up the post.

I smiled and liked the picture, I commented 'Love you too baby. Thank you💜'
I continued scrolling through instagram until I realized what time it was.
"Oh, Fluff," I muttered, rushing to the door.
Class was about to start in 10 minutes. I quickly grabbed my keys and shoved them in my pocket and ran outside. I quickly unlocked my car and got in and drove as fast as the speed limit would let me. I barely made it in time, just for the bell to ring. The proffessor wasn't even here yet, I don't know why I was in such a rush he's always late. As I was walking to class I was met with a hug from my best friend, Hobi.
"Happy birthday to Taetae! Happy birthday to Taetae! Happy birthday dear Taetae! Happy birthday to youuuuu." He said while doing some sort of dance, making me laugh.
"Hey, Hyung," I said as I sat down at one of the seats in the back of class.
"Okay, for your birthday extravaganza. I am going to take you to a club with your girlfriend, and you can't say no." He said smirking.
"But Hyung, you know how I feel about those kinds of things I-."
"No buts," Hobi said cutting me off.
Skip to the end of school
I was walking down the hall ready to get ready for my 'birthday extravanganza' when I heard someone scream in my direction.
"Oppa!" I turned around and saw my Girlfriend Jennie running towards me.
"Hey Jennie, whats up."
"Nothing much," she said smiling brightly at me.
That's when Hobi interrupted the conversation.
"Are you coming tonight or not?!" Hobi yelled and put an arm around Jennie and I.
"Jennie do you want to hang out tonight," I said smiling at her.
"Ugh sure." She said rolling her eyes jokingly.
"Alright well I'll see ya," I said walking away while winking at her.
"Bye" she replied smiling to her self.
