"Hey Gemini, can we talk?" I ask Gemini, who has been avoiding me lately. We are at the beach, and I've been having to endure Leo's constant complaining about the heat, even though it's only 90 degrees out. Try living in Phoenix, Arizona, where it's on average 110 degrees out. I moved here from Phoenix a year ago to live with my dad.

"Umm, sure I guess." He says. Just then, something hits me in the head. Hard.

"What the heck?!" I say, and see the frisbee on the ground. "Who threw this?!"

"Oml look who it is," Leo sneers, "it's those losers that follow Cancer around everywhere." Leo kinda has a thing for Cancer now. Why is she so basic?

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" Virgo calls over, "I'll come pick it up."

"Or better yet, go fetch!" Leo says, and throws the frisbee into the ocean.

Virgo looks confused but swims out to the frisbee.

"What's your problem?!" I hear Scorpio yell at us. Crap, she scares me. "We said we were sorry, it's not like we meant it!" She screams at Leo, who seems not at all bothered.

"Does it look like I even care?" Leo counters, and Scorpio seems livid.

"You think you can just degrade everyone and not get any karma?! I can promise you, that's not going to happen." Scorpio says and waltzes off to her friends.

"Ugh, let's leave this place, it's too hot anyways." Leo says, and we follow her up the beach.

I can feel a bruise forming on my head, but it doesn't hurt too bad. The boys stayed out of the argument, per usual.

"So um, Gemini, still up to have a chat?" I ask, and he gives a small nod.

"I'll leave you two alone," Leo winks, "come on Libra, let's go look in some of the shops." They walk away, and I turn to Gemini.

"Why did you run off when I said I liked you?" I ask, and he pales.

"Ok, I'm going to trust you, ok?" He says, and I just look puzzled. "I like Libra."

WHAT?! I go silent and just look at him

"I knew you wouldn't understand." He says, as he seems really bummed. "I'll just go, you probably are disgusted at me."

"What?! Why would I be disgusted by you?! You're still going to be one of my best friends!" I say and pull him into a hug. "Have you told Libra? I think you guys would make a really cute couple"

"That's the thing, we're secretly dating, and Leo is using it to blackmail us." He sighs, looking so frustrated he might cry. Poor Gemini, Leo is such a horrible person!

"Why don't you guys just come out? Nobody will judge you." I say, and he laughs sadly.

"Plenty of people will. I don't want all that hatred in my life." He says, and I see the uncertainty in his eyes.

"We can talk about this later, Leo and Libra are probably wondering where we are. I'll always be here for you, and won't let Leo hurt you two." I tell him and we walk towards the small surf shops that Leo and Libra are in.

That night, I make a group chat of Libra, Gemini, and I so we can come up with a plan.

C: What are we going to do about Leo?!

L: What are you talking about?

G: I told her about us

L: Gem!!!!!!!! Wtffffff now our secret will be out

C: Chill I wont tell anyone

L: please don't

G: I'm pretty sure we can trust Cap, so let's come up with a way to get Leo off our backs

C: I think I have an idea... 😏
