T.K.O. was out, attacking the plaza and anyone in sight. Enid had just run off to find his mother while Rad was lying on the ground, every bone in his body shattered by the emo version of his friend. As T.K.O. was about to follow Enid, a young girl with blonde hair jumped in front of him and punched him backward. T.K.O. landed on his feet but skidded backward, one hand in the ground. He looked up to see who had punched him--Maddie. The young girl had tears in her eyes but a determined look on her face. "Maddie!" T.K.O. hissed. "Thought a weakling like you wouldn't hurt their best friend." He said the words "best friend" with an edge that seemed to cut Maddie as if it were real. But Maddie just looked at the young boy, tears sliding down her face. "I wish with all my heart I didn't have to. But believe me, as much as it hurts..." Maddie's eyes suddenly turned yellow--it was common for her eyes to change when she used her powers, but they'd never turned yellow before. Maddie clenched a fist and they suddenly started sparking with blue electricity. This was new. She looked at her hands, then at T.K.O. She got into a fighting stance, still sobbing. "You aren't hurting my friends again."
This is an alternate version of "T.K.O." where Maddie was present. So, in this scene, Maddie was so passionate about protecting her friends that she accidentally combimed her pyrokinesis and cryokinesis to unlock her electrokinesis (kinda like Garnet from SU) in order to fight T.K.O. I am so proud of this! The shadow work and light on the hair was so hard to get right, but I think it looks awesome. Hope y'all enjoy!
