On a beautiful summer night Emily and Alison sit outside on porch watching the sun go down. They were at Emilys parents house. Since Emily's mom is currently out of town, Emily and Alison have been staying at the Fields house with their twins Lilly and Grace. Emily and Alison had just recently got married. Emily and Alison have an apartment together but Mrs. Fields asked them to stay at her house while she was out of town. Lilly and Grace were sleeping so Emily thought this was a perfect moment to have a much needed talk with Alison.

"Why Beacon Heights University?" Emily asked

"University's pay more then high school." Alison said

"I know that but I mean why Washington?" Emily asked

"My boss who is the principal of Rosewood high graduated from BHU and he said that he would give me a reference letter for me to work at BHU." Alison said

"A reference letter would help you get the job but what about Hollis College. I bet Ezra would recommend you if I asked him to since he got you the job at Rosewood high to begin with." Emily said

"Hollis College had no openings for an English teacher and neither did Rosewood Community College." Alison said

"Why can't you just stay at Rosewood high then until an opening came up at either Hollis College or Rosewood Community College?" Emily asked

"Rosewood high is closing after the next school year." Alison said

"What no they can't do that. It doesn't make sense since Rosewood high is the newest school out of the 3 high schools in the district." Emily said

"Budget cuts Em and there is less enrollment now then when we went there. It does kind of make sense because Rosewood high is in the center of Rosewood. Closing Rosewood high allows the district to keep the high school on the south end of the city and the high school on the north end of the city open." Alison said

"We just got married Ali, how are we even supposed to last until our one year anniversary if you take a job all the way in Washington?" Emily asked

"If our marriage is meant to be then we will be fine." Alison said

"So now you think getting married was a mistake?" Emily asked

"All I mean is that we have to be patient waiting for a call back from one other, Fine with not seeing each other every day, keep a balanced relationship through phone calls face time or text, and be kind to each other if we disagree on things." Alison said
