Some people hate thunder.
Or are scared of it.
Or get nervous when it booms overhead,
Holding the possibility to shake a whole building.
Then there's me, I actually like thunderstorms.
I like the sound of rain, the light of the lightning, and the rolling sound of thunder. I like the soothing feel it gives me as I'm falling asleep at night.
Well, at least i used to find it soothing.
Now it holds a meaning. And a not so good meaning.
//today//
It's currently 9:47 and I'm laying in my bed with a pizza box to my right, my greys anatomy playing, and my Snapchat open on my phone in my hands. Just then a gigantic boom rushed from the back of my house, to the front of my house. Rushing through my head to my toes. I tried to get my snap camera out and record the boom, but it was too late, the thunder had ended and the video only consisted of the beeping of a monitor from my tv show.Dang it. That was a good one too. I like to record it and send it to my friend group chat, just to see how bad it was near my house. I put my phone down for a second and felt my phone vibrate in a weird ish patten
*ALERT*
FLASH FLOOD WARNING
FROM 10:00pm UNTIL 3:30amAbout 30 seconds later my little sister knocks on my door
"Come in" i yell
She just looks down at her phone and back up at me "What is a flash flood?"
I just looked down at my phone thinking on how to explain it, I really actually liked rain, but I don't think my family knew how much I did
My dad didn't appreciate rain, because it flooded our basement.
My stepmom didn't like lightning.
My sister was scared of thunder.
And me, I wasn't phased by it"Well"....I go on

OMG HEYYY ok fam
I am just kinda putting down my feelings right now so stick with me, I like the story so far :) I am thinking of merging thunder and my other story,"I can't love you". I think that'll make a good story
I got some ideas 🤔
