Okay so i admit, the bus to the school was a lot different than i thought it would be. In the movies it shown people going onto the bus full of chatty and light hearted people having as much fun as they possibly could on a yellow crusty bus. But once i stepped up the back stairs and sucessfully pulled my stuff aboard with me i noticed the slight awkwardness filling the air with only a few conversations actually being held.

I eventually made my was down to seat 10 on the left side, it was the only seat not occupied by anyone. I originally planned on me looking for a nice face to sit with but once i realised most of the kids were not as upbeat as i was about going to school, it pretty much ruined those plans. After getting comfortable in the hard blue seat i pulled on the lower hem of my dress to make sure it did not rise too much on my thighs whilst brushing my hair away from my face.

"Ello!" I jumped cursing at the random voice practically yelling in my ear. I faced to see a pale skinned guy bounce over from across the way to right smack dab next to me.

"Oh im sorry, did i scare ya?" I nodded for a reply flashing him a giant smile. Somebody has already spoke to me! I almost cheered but i needed to play it cool.

"Im Seelie!" His voice radiated happiness and that somehow brightened my mood up even more. Other than him being very pale he was a attractive guy. Not exactly a George Clooney but hey he was pretty striking. Blond spiked up hair with clear baby blue eyes, he must steal lots of girlys hearts. He was slim too but he had a little muscle going for him. Wearing a red and white striped tank top he paired it with clean white cargo's and red hightops. I could see him being a surfer or something of that nature.

"Seelie? What a nice name, very different. And just call me Elle." I offered my hand and noticed how quiet the bus has gotten so quickly. Seelie looked at my hand and chucked pulling me into a hug. My eyes widened in shock not really regestering what was happening. Faeries normally did not show any kinds of affection so quickly, we normally stuck to handshaking unless it was family or a lover. But this felt nice, very warm and gentle.

"I feel like we will be good friends for some reason." He whispered in my ear making me shutter a little. Friends? Heck i will count him as one already!

"You are very gorgeous Elle, hell if i wasnt playing for the other team id be all over you like white on rice!" He smiled once again showing that he had 2 very cute dimples on his cheeks. Other team? I asked myself trying pulling my eyebrows together in confusion. What does that mean?

"Other team?" I asked breaking the silence.

"Im gay." He annouced, almost as if he was proud. What is gay? What if its some sort of human slang. I couldnt find anything else to say because honestly, i was embaressed.

"Oh my," Seelie chucked putting a big hand on my tiny shoulder.

"You dont know what gay is?" My face blushed not knowing how to answer this. I blew it, hes going to hate me or something...

"You where homeschooled or something?" He asked another question this time looking a tad suspisious.

"Yeah you could say that." I laughed. I couldnt help it, i guess it was my own inside joke. Homeschool vs. machines pressing information into your brain. Just couldnt beat the big difference.

"Well it means instead of liking and being attracted to girls im attracted to boys." Seelie informed me. He must have noticed the shock in my face because a frown grew on him. It was not a good look for Seelie to frown, he looked much better smiling.

"Oh my god im sorry if i insulted you by how i reacted, i just never heard of such a thing. Im not judging you!" I added quickly as he pulled his hand away from me and tucked it in his lap. But it is true, i never heard of the term 'gay' in my life. Never have i ever ran into a male faerie liking another male. But who am i to judge him, atleast he is honest about himself. I like honesty.

"No worries its cool." Seelie's smile returned and i relaxed again finally over our weird encounter.

The bus ride was about 30 minutes long but it was a very nice ride since Seelie was there to talk to me about randome topics. I learned his favorite color is green and he loves sushi, and that the school we will be attending is pretty fun for a boarding school. Once the bus pulled infront of our school i instantly regretted wearing heels. My feet will kill me by the end of fourth period, i just know it. The campus was huge and im only talking the actual school not including the dorms. The brick buildings looked slightly old but it gave a nice vintage look to it, the one detail that stook out about the surroundings was the huge black bear statue that stands infront of the enterence. Bear huh? Must be our mascot. Once me and Seelie made our way off the bus with our belongings he linked his arm through mine telling me not to worry or be scared for my first day.

"Im not scared!" I told Seelie as i held my head up high. No i am not scared, im fricken terrified! What if no one likes me? The little voice kept telling me inside of my head.

"Wow, now i know what you look like when you lie." He smirked.

"Im not lying!" I groaned slightly annoyed of carrying my duffel bag aswell as my school bag.

"Whatever Elle. Keep your stuff with you until after first period. Trust me it sucks trying to make it to your dorm when theres so many kids trying to put their stuff away before first period. Do it after first you wont regret it!" He told me holding his palm out for something.

"What?" I shook his hand unsure of what else to do. Seelie choked on a laugh pulling his hand away from my grip.

"No i want to see your schedule. Ill take you to your first period silly." He once again held out his palm waiting. I pulled my schedule out of my bag and handed it to him watching as he read it throughly. Giving it back he rushed me foward in the empty hallways making our way to my first class.
