Not quite your average GT (giant-tiny) story. Just an idea I'm trying out. Looking for people's opinion. Under construction. I drew the cover, by the way. :) Please leave comments to give your opinions or to point out grammar errors. Also I'll be more inclined to keep posting if people show interest. ;)

Everything's a blur. One second I was reading a book on the hammock, enjoying a lazy summer afternoon, and then there a flash of blinding light consumed me, followed by a thick, suffocating darkness.

I start to come to when I heard the voices.

"I wonder what happened to her," a female voice murmurs. "She's a mess."

"Mm. I bet she hit her head," a male voice replies. "Fell down. Poor thing."

My eyes pop open to see two teenagers standing before me, not much older than me, with very startled expressions.

"Look who finally decided to wake up," a third voice voice mutters. I turn my head to see another girl.

"Where am I?" I ask, climbing to my feet. I wince and press my fingers to my temple. My head is pounding, spinning. There's something off about this. I can't quite place it...

"Uh... somewhere on the boarder of the Flutter and Feather territory," the boy says.

For the first time, I peer closely at the three before me. One of the girls has light brown hair with tight curls that frame her face. She has full lips and a slightly turned up nose, and bright blue eyes that glisten with concern. She's rather pretty, except that she's wearing ragged clothes, and oddly enough, equipped with a bow and arrows.

The boy has ruffled blonde hair, and dark brown eyes. With his square jaw and muscular build, he could easily be the most popular guy at any school.

The last girl is a little scary. She has pale green eyes and long black hair, with bangs. Not a hair out of place. Her nose is sharp and her lips form a tight line. She looks seriously annoyed at me, and I don't know why.

All of a sudden, I know what's off.

There are tall green strips popping up all around us, like strange, smooth trees. But they're not trees. They're blades of grass.

The grass is taller than me.

And that's when I panic.
