Mia's POV

My heels clicked against the the hard paved sidewalk. And fuck it hurt my feet, I should probably walk on the grass, but who gives a damn right!?... I guess I spoke to soon and was stomping a little to hard because seconds later my left heel came off causing me to tumble ungracefully onto the ground.

"Fuck!" I cursed under my breath as a single tear slipped down my cheek, but just as quick as it came I wiped it away.

No I will not cry... Yes I just caught my boyfriend cheating and yes I just found out it was with my no good slut of a sister but no I will not cry over that, at least until I get to Gabby's house then, and only then will Niagara Falls come out.

I picked myself up, tore off my heels and continued down the sidewalk, avoiding sharp rocks that would hurt my shoeless feet. It was only another street till I got to Gabby's.

After what seemed like forever I walked up to Gabby's door, not caring that I walked over their perfectly manicured lawn or that I dropped my heels in her billion dollar fountain. I mean it's not my fault she's rich...

Pushing my finger on the doorbell I waited. My thought wandering to earlier that night... Ugh. Stupid sister, stupid ex-boyfriend, stupid life, stup--- my thoughts we're cut off when a half-dressed Gabby opened the door.

GABBY'S POV

Pulling my hair in to a towel I rushed down the stairs, I had been enjoying my warm bath when I was rudely interrupted by a stupid doorbell, i mean serially who in their right mind comes here and rings the frucking doorbell at this time!

If only my parents were home to get it, but they weren't so I threw on my robe and slippers and walked out of my room, down the stairs and to the door.

And threw it open and was shocked to see none other then a red eyed, shoeless and bad hair day Mia on my porch. But damn did she still look hot! 'No. Gab stop thinking those things, you are not a lesbian... You are straight!... I think' shaking my head I quickly pull Mia in and shut the door behind us.

I pull Mia over to the couch and sit her down then head to the kitchen to get hot chocolate for us.

Carful not to spill the steaming mugs, I returns to see Mia huddled in a fuzzy white blanket 'awe she so cute when she does th--- bad thoughts bad Gab bad!'

As I sit down I look at Mia with concern, while Mia just sits there looking hurt and lost.

"What's wrong Mia? What happened?" I questioned trying not to bombard her with questions.

Mia looked like she was about to answer, because she would open then close it looking like a fish out of water... I was tempted to laugh at my friends silliness, that is till Mia's lip quivered and she just lost it. She sobbed, and I just cradled her in my lap 'oh the joy! Stupid mind'

"It's okay, let it all out don't worry...." She sobbed and I cooed, this lasted a good hour until she calmed down. By then I knew not to bring it up so instead I flicked on the tv.

With Mia still in my lap, blowing her nose ever so often I was content, at least until the show that was on got intense and had me all hot and bothered. 'Like geez get some self control!'
