Something Great (Sequel to The Backup Dancer)

Chapter 9

-Perrie's P.O.V.-

"Happy birthday babe!" Zayn cheered once he appeared on my screen. "Aw, thank you Zayn. I'm glad you remembered." I smiled at him.

He rose and eyebrow, "How could I forget the birthday of the most amazing girl on this planet?"

I laughed at him and shook my head. "Shut up Zayn. You're being cheesy."

"It's true isn't it?"

"Yeah I guess." I answered him as I shrugged. "Well what are you going to do today?" He asked. "I don't know. The girls and I might go out to an amusement park called Knotts Berry Farm." I told him with a big smile.

"Or go out clubbing." I add.

I'm happy to spend this day with my favorite girls.

"Nice. A theme park. Don't get on too many rides. I don't want to see headlines on magazines saying Perrie Edwards throwing up after many rides." He laughed.

I smiled and scoffed at him, "Please. That happened a long time ago."

"Perrie are you talking to Zayn?" I heard Jade ask. I looked at her and nodded.

"You think I can talk to Harry? To see if any feelings are true?"

"Of course Jade. Zayn can-"

"I heard. Don't worry, I already called him." He said. I smiled at him and motioned for Jade to sit next to me.

She came over and sat in front of the computer. I moved away and went to the corner of the room. Soon, Harry appeared on the screen.

"Hey Jade." He smiled. His eyes lit up and it seemed cute. It's obvious he still has a little feelings for Jade left. Despite the love he has for his former girlfriend.

-Jade's P.O.V.-

"Hey Harry." I smiled at him. My heart swelled, but I didn't feel anything showing love for him. All I felt was happiness from hearing his voice and seeing him after quite some time.

"How are you?" He asked.

"I'm great. How are you?" I asked. He shrugged his shoulders before answering, "I'm doing fine."

I nodded and there was a silence for a while before I spoke.

"How are things on tour?"

"Things are great. Fans are getting crazier than ever. But I like it. It just shows their dedication." He said with a grin. It's nice to know he cares that much about his fans. After all, they did give them everything didn't they?

"Yeah, it does. It doesn't get crazy here though. As surprising as it is. The fans only ask for pictures but don't mob us."

"That sounds nice. I would love it for fans to not get so crazy and suffocate us. But they're just excited so, ya know." He says with a shrug at the end.

I nod, "Yeah."

Once again there is a silence before he speaks, "How are things with you girls?"

"Oh, things are great. We just finished two music videos and we're shooting a new one in a day. We're also going on tour. I think in a few weeks. I don't know."

"Congrats. I've heard about the tour. You must be so excited."

"I am. I'm extatic. It's going to be in the UK. I feel bad for the fans who live here." I explained while looking down.

"Yeah, I understand. Well um, nice talking to you." He said with a smile wave. "Nice talking to you too." I said and walked off at the same time he did.

"Thanks Perrie." I smiled at her. She gave a sincere smile back. "No problem."

-Perrie's P.O.V.-

Zayn and I exchanged our goodbyes and I got ready for today.

Once I was done, I walked downtairs and met the other girls. They all had bag in their hands and once I reached downstairs, they all handed them to me. "Happy Birthday!" They screamed.

"Guy!", I laughed as I took them. "You didn't have to." I mumbled as I opened every single one of them.

Leigh-anne gave me a cute flowy white top, Jesy gave me a cute pair of boots, and Jade gave me a necklace that was shaped as a heart. "Aw, thank you all so much." I say as I hug them.

They each say your welcome and we head out to go clubbing!

Woop!

"Check this out!" Shouted Jesy as she got in the middle of us and started thrusting her hips and then twerked. We all just laughed and continued dancing to the fast pace music. We soon got tired and went back to our booth and drank what we ordered from the bar.

"This is so much fun!" Said Leigh-anne as she took a sip from her drink. We all agreed.

"Guys, I just want to say thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for helping through my rough times and I love you all. We wouldn't be where we are if we haven't been the great group of sisters we are. Thank you." I finished my speech and they all went in for a hug.

"Wo love you too Perrie." Jade says.

"Selfie time!" Jesy shouts and we all snap one on her phone.

The night continues with random dancing and horrible jokes from the great Jade.

Happy birthday to me.
