Third POV
You woke up at 12 not really caring that you woke up late. You stayed in bed thinking about having to go to a new school. You heard a yell from downstairs your mom was calling for you. "Y/n you have an important letter" you confusingly got up and went downstairs. Who could've sent you a letter maybe it was one of the Weasleys.
You stepped downstairs your mom had the mail on the table. She smiled at you and handed you an envelope. It had a red seal and said miss/Mr y/n l/n on the front. As soon as you saw it you felt excitement fill you. You knew about the magical world because your dad worked at the ministry of magic. He worked with his friend Arthur Weasley and you've met their entire family. You ripped open the letter and read it twice making sure you weren't dreaming. It also came with a list of supplies which had a lot of books on it.
"We can get everything you need at diagon alley when your dad gets home". You hugged your mom telling her how happy you were to not be going to a lame school.
Hours later
You were ready and waiting for your dad to get home. You were reading a book about a magical child that went on wacky adventures. You heard the door open you ran to your dad. He put down his suitcase and hugged you. "Your mom told me you got your acceptance letter today" he said laughing. "Can we get the supplies today" you said putting on your shoes. "Of course"
You your mom and dad got the fireplace ready and got some floo powder. You went first "diagon alley" you yelled and after going through you looked around. People were bustling around looking for the right supplies. You also saw a man who had long bushy hair and beard he towered over everyone. He was walking with a boy who looked the same age as you.
You got your wand from ollivander and then got your books, cauldron, robes and other stuff. Your dad grabbed your bag and told you to go get either a cat, owl, or frog. You went to the store and looked at all the cute animals finally decided on one of the animals your dad said to get. As you were walking back you saw through a window two boys. A brown haired and bloud haired they we're getting their robes fitted. You probably looked at the bloud one for too long since you met his eyes for a second.
You finally got home it was dark outside and you would start packing tomorrow. You hugged your parents goodnight and jumped into bed. You were exhausted but couldn't sleep suddenly you heard a peaking at your window you opened it. The owl looked old and tired he held a letter with his claws. You opened it it said
Dear y/n
Just wondering how you've been since we haven't seen eachother. Also I got my letter from Hogwarts today. I'm hoping you get one to.
