Third Person
Jinyoung stomped off to his own office down the hall and harshly plopped himself down on his chair; trying to preoccupy himself with any work to keep his mind off of his feelings.
Suddenly, a knock is heard from the door and a quite tall, very cute and handsome young man opens the door and steps through. "Hey hyung, here I brought you some lunch cause I know how much you hate the cafeteria," he said.
"Thank you Youngjae"
The latter places the food down on Jinyoung's desk, careful not to spill even one drop of anything on the papers that were now currently organised in neat piles all over the desk. "Are you okay hyung? You seem out of it today," Youngjae mentions.
"I'm okay Jae, I just gotta get this work done."
"But hyung... you could tell me right?"
It may not seem like it now, but the pair are the bestest of friends. It's easy for them to read each other and for them to understand each other as well. They've known each other since college; Youngjae being the one to start communication between them, as he is always known for his bubbly and cheerful personality.
"Just... I don't know, I don't know what I feel" Jinyoung pauses for a bit. "I'm confused and I don't know what to do with my feelings anymore."
Youngjae was just as confused as the older, but he knew that if he pushed the other any further, he wouldn't even spare him a glance for a few days. So the only thing he could say was, "Jinyoung-hyung, I may not know what exactly you're feeling right now, but what I do know is that you'll probably figure it out if you just give your feelings some time." Hoping that this helped the other in any way, he goes to Jinyoung and places a hand on his shoulder to give him some kind of comfort.
"Thanks Youngjae-ah," he then hugs the boy, whom gladly hugs him back as the two stay like that for a while; knowing that just this act of affection is enough to calm each other down when in situations like this.
"I better get going hyung, Jaebum will get mad if I'm gone for too long. You know how much of a perfectionist he is."
"That guy seriously needs to chill sometimes with work."
"You're not to talk hyung," Youngjae laughs slightly; showing off his eye-smiles.
Not being able to resist his adorable friend, Jinyoung grabs the latter's cheeks and squeezes them slightly, "wahhh you're so cute Jae!"
"Ahhh stop it hyung," he removes his huung's hands away from his face carefully and slowly walks to the door, but not forgetting to say goodbye to Jinyoung first. "Bye hyung!"
"See you later Youngjae!"
Jinyoung then goes back to sitting by his desk, attempting to get more work since since he's only a quarter away from finishing, however what Youngjae said before still stuck to his mind. 'Give my feelings some time?' He thought. 'Does that mean... spend more time with them individually? Ahhhh I don't know anymore' The troubled man sighs abruptly and lets his hands through his hair harshly, showing his frustration. 'God, what am I supposed to do?'
