Alaric walked over to the window watching the parents of the school children coming in to the school for parents evening. Mystic Falls was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel calm even in the storm.
Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the a figure of Jeremy Gilbert with a woman who was so beautiful she left Alaric breathless. Alaric gulped watching them until they disappeared into the school.
Y/n POV
Helping raise two teenagers is very hard. But teenagers that lost their parents which caused them to loose their self's. That is too hard. Poor Jenna has been trying so hard but nothing worked so I decided to move to Mystic Falls to help. Tonight Jenna had to work so I had to go to Jeremy's parents evening. The drive was silent just the quiet noise of Jeremy's music playing through his headphones. We arrived at the school, Jeremy jumping out the car straight away trying to get in to the school before me but I quickly got out grabbing his arm as he was about to pass " Jeremy! You are not leaving me. We both need to talk to your teachers" I whisper-yelled at him slightly dragging him to the school he pulled his arm out of my grasp sighing slightly he glanced at me then at the floor deciding to follow my instructions he smiled slightly looking back up at me Jeremy finally spoke " okay fine but we get to see Mr Saltzman first." I smiled nodding " of course Jer!" We walked into the school Jeremy slightly speeding up as we get closer to the classroom. Glancing in I saw a man sat at the desk his back to me, he had broad shoulders, brown hair that looked super soft, I just wanted to run my hand through it and.. Jeremy smirked lightly elbowing me bringing me out of my thoughts he coughed causing Mr Saltzman to turn to face us his lip parted slightly before he smiled getting up. " Jeremy good to see you! This must be Jenna?" His voice was pure perfection making my speechless I gulped stepping forward slightly " Hi I'm y/n, Jenna couldn't make it tonight. I'm Jeremy's cousin and well I guess his part guardian as well?" Mr saltzman smiled stepping forward as well holding his hand out to you to shake which you did with a small smile while blushing. He laughed quietly " well it's nice to meet you y/n! Let's take a seat shall we a discuss Jeremy's work."
