Alice P.O.V
"C'mon Alice, you should talk to your parents about it. Talk to them I'm sure they'll consider it and might like the idea." Lissette tells me over the phone. I was in bed reading, before she called me and suggested an idea that can either fail miserably or succeed amazingly, all I had to do was talk to my parents. "Okay, I'll call you back after I finish talking to them, bye Lis." and I hung up.
I made my way downstairs and into the living room where my parents sat busying themselves with the newspaper and my mom was in the kitchen, and I cleared my throat getting their attention, "What's up honey?" My Mom says looking at me then continued cooking, and my Dad drops his newspaper to look at me. I was a 16 year old girl in Miami, Florida with my Mom and Dad, my brother had left for college two years ago, and I was alone to face my parents. He would help me out whenever we had an idea and we would both try convincing my parents, but not this time I guess.
"Well, as you know, Lissette's sister is moving to a flat by the beach, not far from here, and she was taking Lissette with her, cause it's not that far from Lissette's Mom's house and yeah, so.." by now my Mom and Dad were both staring at me and I continued, "Lissette and her sister thought it was a good idea for me to go with them you know, for a while since you guys are always working and you know, I'm always alone, and Mom now you have those two months in Europe and Dad you're going to visit Grandpa and I thought I would just go with them.." I say casually not looking them in the eyes, that always sucks. "Um, I don't know.." My Mom says looking at my Dad for reassurance, and I butt in, "It's not like you guys don't know them, we're practically sisters, and you've known Jessica (Lissette's sister) and Mary (Lissette's Mom) since forever too." trying to convince them.
"I don't know, are you sure you want to do this?" My Dad asks me looking into my eyes and I nod, "Yeah, I don't mind, you guys aren't going to be here anyways."
"Okay." My mom says. "Better than leaving you with your Aunt, I know you don't like her too much." She says, and I look at my Dad, and he smiles, "Sure, but we'd have to call everyday and webcam every week to check up on you, and I don't want you doing anything you shouldn't be." He warns me.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I yell as I hug both of them and kiss them on the cheek.
"I'll call Jessica now." My Mom says returning to the kitchen and I run upstairs to my room and call Lissette.

"Alice?" I hear her voice and I yell into the phone, "Aaaaahhhh!!!"
"THEY SAID YES?!?!" I hear her yell and I say, "YEEEEESSSSS!"
"OMG!" -L
"I KNOW!" -Me
"Oh, this is awesome! I can't wait, I have to go over and help you pack and ah!"
"Chill, it's only Tuesday. My parents leave Saturday night, and I have to spend that day bonding with them before they leave."
"Okaaay. So is your Mom calling Jessica then?" -L
"Yeah."
I hear her sigh happily and I say, "I'm excited. Finally we're going to have our dream vacation and I don't have to go with my Aunt."
"Did you tell them how we had summer vacation coming up?" -L
"I'm sure they know." I say.
"Ookaaay theeen." -L
"Yeah, well I gotta go and study for finals tomorrow, babe." I tell her sadly, and she says, "Ugh, me too, bye boo." and I hear the click of the call ending.
I plug my cellphone in the charger on my nightstand and grab all my notes and slave away my afternoon studying.

Next Morning
BABY YOU LIGHT UP MY WORLD LIKE NOBODY ELSE, THE WAY YOU-
"UGH." I grunt as I groggily turn and dismiss my phone alarm. 6:30 AM and I had to start getting ready for school.
I made my way to my bathroom and showered. The warm water alarming all my senses and waking me up. I stepped out after a few minutes and walked to my closet with my towel wrapped around my body. I pulled out my tight khaki skinny pants and my uniform blouse top. I put my garments on and buttoned on my shirt so it would be easier to just put the pants on and have my shirt tucked in.
When I finished with the belt, I brushed through my hair and picked my hair up into a ponytail and put a bow in my hair. I put perfume and all that jazz. I don't wear makeup, just some lipstain every now and then. All I did today was put my favorite coconut vanilla lip balm and grabbed my bookbag, phone and headed out to the kitchen. My Mom was waiting for me on the counter and when she saw me she headed out the front door and got into the car with me.
The car rides to school are always quiet, but today she was giving me a speech about how I'll do good and I shouldn't worry or be nervous, take my time, focus, all that stuff parents say when you have an important test. When we got to the school she gave me money and told me to head to the starbucks in front of our school with Lissette and my friends and make sure to get at least some coffee.
I saw Lissette, Eli, Elizabeth, Axel, and Jocey there waiting for me and a smile was on my face. All six of us have gone to the same school and have had all of our classes together since and we just grew up as a group.
"Starbucks?" I asked them with a raised eyebrow and Axel says with a grin, "I'm totally in. All night studying, I'm going to need my cup of coffee today." I hugged them all and we agreed with Axel and started walking to Starbucks. Everyone from school hangs there, all the employees know all the students, even the teachers go there. It's like part of our school. It's pretty big after they remodeled it a year ago when they noticed it was too small for all the students that go there and now it's nice. When we got there it was extra full, due to the fact everyone needed the extra energy for our finals.
We ordered the usuals then walked back to school, they were on the same street so it's not too far or dangerous to get to.
"So, you guys ready for Flitchers' test? She was saying it was the one she gave her Year 12's one time. I'm scared." Said Eli.
"Dude, please, she always says that and the tests turn out easy. You're a gullible little boy aren't ya?" Elizabeth tells him pinching his cheek after.
"Whatever." He muttered annoyed at her and we started heading to homeroom for our first final of the day.
+Hey guys! I deleted my other story, it was iffy, whatever, but I started this one. c: Okay, bye.+
