He froze, his eyes darted around the room in hesitation. I could feel the tension in the air building up. His face was becoming blush..."No!! Of course not! That was ages ago!" He laughed, but his face was a red hot tomato. I looked at him in doubt.
"No!! Really I promise!! I don't" He scratched the back of his neck in embarrassment. I sighed and giggled under my breath. "Ok then," And I walked casually out the room, flipping my hair that had planted itself on my face away.I heard thrashing feet racing about "MAYA?" The voices shouted. I hadn't even heard them a while back. I ran hurriedly to the front room only to find Taeyong and Mark running towards me looking freaked out. "WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN?" They both shouted, stopping just infront of me breathing hard. I jumped back, "I'm so SORRY, I've been in the loo!..." I put my sweaty hands away, out of view of Taeyong's panicky eyes. "We have been outside, around the house...everywhere!! Why didn't you hear us? We were shouting SO loud." I didn't have time to reply because Taeyong had taken my hand and we were running out the house. I looked behind me to see all of NCT looking at me, waving sadly to see me go. I waved back sadly too, finding Jaehyun's face looking at me in sadness. I smiled and turned away, my suitcase was in Taeyong's hands. "WHY ARE YOU RUNNING? WHY ARE U RUNNING!?"
He turned my way, "I rung the police earlier and they said that your mum is already there, she's been waiting for you for like hours...that's why we are running!" He sped up, rolling my suitcase like it was a feather, floating lightly behind him. "Okay, okay okay!! But we don't have to run!" I pulled Taeyong's warm hand to a halt and he slowed down to a stop, we both stood, catching our fast breaths. I smiled at him. "I know my mum won't mind" He sighed and began to walk again. His hand still clutching mine. We walked for abit, in silence, just looking at all the cars gliding past. "I rung the National Airport Service and they found my phone..." I said.
"Really? That's so good!! When are you collecting it?" Taeyong said, his voice much more relaxed now.
"They said now, but I can probably get it any time..." We talked for ages, meandering through the streets, people walking by...there were a few stares, some people looked at Taeyong in amazement, and gasped when they saw his hand in mine, but I understand why, he was a K-pop star, he must be used to getting stares. His hand was quite nice actually, it was so soft and comfortable.
Taeyong had finally come back to his senses when he gasped suddenly and took his hand away from mine. "SHIT" He whispered under his breath. "What?" I said in alarm.
"I had forgotten that I was famous just then..." He pulled a mask out of his bag and put it around his mouth. So now I could only see his eyes. I had a flashback from the first time I saw him...his amazing dark eyes with such lovely hair, sweeping over his head, bits pinging out messily but still styled amazingly. "Why did you let go of my hand?"I blurted out, just realising what I had said. He looked at me funnily and stared hard down at the ground. "You could be on the news if people saw that I was holding somebody's hand. They might make it exaggerated and you might be hated on because of me."
I jumped in surprise, "What?! Why would they do that?" I looked in confusion at him. He sighed and didn't answer, walking a little faster then before.

We walked through the police station's doors. Immediately hearing hundreds of phones calling, people talking, alot looking worried, angry or in tears. Police officers walked casually around, comforting the sad people or shouting angrily at the people convicted of a crime. We both walked slowly in, cautious of the people who were marching busily around. I scanned the room, looking from place to place. When I finally sprung my sight upon my Mum, sitting on a chair with her phone in her hand looking really worried. I gasped in relief and walked hurriedly through the people, Taeyong following behind. "Mum!!" I shouted, waving my hand above my head. She looked around in confusion but once she saw me she erupted in happiness, her arms open wide for a hug. I ran into them, hugging her tightly, "Oh my god!! Where have you been Maya!!!!? I was SO worried!!" She held me tight, not letting go. I struggled away, "It's okay, I'm here now."
She smiled at me in utter relief, looking at me like I was the most precious thing in the world. She suddenly brought herself back to reality and looked at Taeyong...who had stepped out behind me. "Who are you?" She said, looking confusingly back and forth at me and him. "Aha, I'm the person that helped your daughter...Taeyong, nice to meet you" He bowed politely. She took one look at him and looked at me, "What did he do to you!? She put her hands to her hips. "No no NO!! He didn't do anything to me!! He saved me from getting absolutely lost in a city that I don't know at all!! He literally saved my life!!" I looked in shock at Mum. She looked him up and down, "oh...I'M SO sorry for my quick judgement!! THANK YOU so much for looking after my daughter!! Do you want me to repay you?" She rummaged around in her pockets. "It's okay!! You don't need to repay anything to me, it was a pleasure!" He shook his hand in a negative way at her and she gratefully put her purse back into her pocket. "Aw Mum!! I"m 18!! I don't need looking after..." I stood in embarrassment, looking glumly down at the floor. Taeyong laughed, his teeth shining a perfect white. He smiled at me and I looked at him shyly. My mum just always treats me like a kid nowadays, it's so annoying. It's probably to do with not really being around much to look after me and my brother when we were little. She was always just off alot doing work. So she is kind of trying to do it now, but it's kind of too late...I sighed and laughed along with them. Taeyong was looking at me when I turned to look at him again to make sure he was okay. We both held eye contact but turned away when the police officer walked over and was talking to us very formally. He told us that we would be registered into a book so the service knew that there was new people in the town to look out for if we were ever in need of emergency help. My mum thanked him and picked up her bag from the chair where she was sitting. She looked at Taeyong smiling with relief and grateful for the fact someone had helped her daughter. "Thank you again, Taeyong...If it weren't for you then I don't know what would of happened..." She put her hand out to him and he shook it gleefully. "No problem, it was so nice meeting you," He rolled my suitcase over to me, his hand brushing mine as I grabbed it, he pushed something into my hand and smiled at both of us. "Well, maybe see you again some time? I have to go but welcome to your new home!!" He gradually walked away from us, nodding to my mum and when we had started to walk the other way, he looked straight into my eyes and smiled as much as he could before turning and quickly walking out the police station. Sweeping in and out of the busy people. My heart was racing in excitement but was sad to see him go, he was such a nice guy. Why was did he care for me so much? Was there a reason or was it just pure luck that he had been there for me? I opened my hand to see what he had put into it, only to find a crumpled bit of paper scrunched up in a ball. "What is this?" I said to myself. I unravelled the piece of paper to find 12 numbers scribbled onto it. My face lit up in utter happiness, he gave me his NUMBER!!!! I stuffed it into my pocket, getting ready for the huge journey ahead of me that was near to come.
