Jess picked up the cheetah print canvas bag up from her father's Chevy and placed it on the ground with the rest of her things.
"What room is it again, sweetie?" Her father asked as he picked up one of the heavier boxes.
"Uhh.. Room 365." She replied after fumbling around with her student ID. 'Jessica Hiering' it read. At least it didn't show her full name, she thought to herself. Bertha. Jessica Bertha Hiering. Why.
After getting all her stuff outside her room, Jess said her goodbyes, and mentally prepared herself...
Jess opened the door with the key on her ID. "Hello?" She said as she walked in the room and took in her surroundings. On one side of the room, a twin sized bed was made with plain white cotten sheets and two pillows. Above the bed were three empty shelves with the top one two and a half feet away from the ceiling. At the foot of the bed was a door, a closet, she assumed. On the other side of the door frame, was a white desk with three drawers on one side. I can make this work, she thought.
The other side of the room, well, it was the exact same thing. Except messier. Way messier. Clothes were everywhere, a black suitcase with the Batman logo sat open on the bed with more clothes spilling out, if that were even posible. If Jess didn't see a few dresses strawn about she would have assumed a boy was her roommate. A 1986 Transformers poster hung crooked against the wall with the top right corner falling down, apparently the tape gave out, as it was still stuck to the poster. The desk next to hers was covered in papers, comics, and... is that... PopTart wrapers? Oh dear..
Jess layed her cheetah bag on her bed and went to open the white silky curtains that covered the window between the two desks. Her wavy dirty blond hair hung around to her pale rounded face as she peered out the window to the view below. She was on the third floor, second to the top. Her room was on the back of the building, so she got a good veiw of the football feild. Right now a group of guys were playing a small game. She was about to turn around when she heard the door open. This is it. It's time to meet my new roommate.
