[ 12 ] - royal love

Zach's eyes slowly opened, the bright light coming from outside making him blink a couple times. He fluttered his eyes, making them adjust to the light. His vision was still blurred, but at least he wasn't feeling completely blind. "Hello?" He whispered, his mouth dry like sand. He coughed, trying to sit up only to end up in the bed again. He let out a breath, closing his eyes before using all his strength on getting up into a sitting position. "Hello!" He tried again, his voice a little louder this time. No one seemed to be in the room with him, but he still looked around. He didn't think he'd been in there before, but everything that had occurred before he was placed in that bed was unclear to him. Like someone wiping lipstick on a mirror, it's smudged but still there. He sighed, his eyes finally going back to a normal-like vision. He looked at the bedside table, grabbing a glass of water that was placed there and drank. Even though the water was heated from the sun, and even though it had probably been standing there a couple of hours, maybe days, he still drank. He was so thirsty, his throat was so dry, he was so thankful the glass was even there. "Hello!" He yelled, happy to finally being able to speak. "Anyone there?" The door suddenly flew open, a very flustered looking Jonah entering the bedroom. His green eyes were open wide in awe when he saw his betrothed sitting in the bed, the Prince of Diavolo was shocked; to say the least. He ran towards the bed, almost falling on top of Zach when he pulled the smaller boy into a hug. "Oh Zach..." He whispered, running his hand through his boyfriend's soft, chocolate brown hair. He pulled away after a few minutes, just studying Zachary's face before the younger boy cupped his cheeks with his hands and started kissing him passionately. Jonah blushed wildly, even the tip of his ears turning red when their lips connected. He smiled against Zach's lips when he started tugging at his hair gently, making jolts of electricity go through his whole body. "Zach." He mumbled, pulling away. "I thought you'd die..." He said, resting his forehead on his shoulder. "Jonah, it's okay. I'm okay. We'll be okay." Zach reassured him, his hand rubbing his fiancé's back. "I'm here." He smiled calmly when Jonah looked back up, pecking his lips. "I'm here with you."
