"Wake up Jennie. We're here." Namjoon said as he elbowed me lightly. I rubbed my eyes out of exhaustion.
"Why can't I sleep longer?" I questioned.
"You know, you remind me of someone who attends the same university as you." Namjoon chirpped. My eyes glazed over the City of Tommorow. I heard that it was a modern place, but at sunrise, it was the prettiest thing.
All the buildings were skyscraper like. Each being better than the previous.
"Jennie, it's best that you head to the bathe house. City-Dweller are not used to seeing Nomads." Namjoon suggested.
"Are you calling my kind unsanitary?" I remarked.
"Of course not! It's just that, your the first of your kind to enter this city. It's best you pretend your from a family nobility." He persisted.
"Fine, where is it?" I spoke. He pointed at a building with the words 'Bathe house'. I scrambled into the crowd.
"Exsuce me, sorry sir, mame-" I continued. Lots of people gave me insulting looks, but I ignored them all.
When I reached the Bathe house, there was an old elderly lady swept the side walk.
"Hi, are you the owner of this building?" I asked.
"Actually, no. The owner is inside. Just tell him that you need a shower. I suggest you have shower number nine, but if not, number five or seven will do best." The old lady reccomended.
"Thanks, I guess?" I thanked awkwardly.
I walked into the building. Seeing whom was supposed to be the owner. A robot, that had a male voice.
"Good morning miss! Do you have any questions for me?" The robot greeted. I was unsure of what was happening.
"Um, yeah. Is there any requirements to enter?" I responded.
"Since every shower is actually a sauna you share with others, it's best that you wear this." The robot answered, as he handed me red pajamas and a towel.
I took his advice and headed to the changing rooms. Each stall had its own mini TV that was floating around our heads with tutorials on how to put your handed clothes on. The pajamas were easy, but the towel was supposed to be some sort of hat.
I stepped out and went back to the robot.
"Alright, can I get shower room nine?" I ordered.
"Shower room number nine is already occupied by three clients. Yet there is room for one more client. Would you like to join them?" He informed.
"Yes." I replied.
"You can go to shower room number nine then."He allowed. I went down the steep rusty stairs. I kept ascending until I found my shower room. I heard giggling past the door.
"Maybe I'll make some new friends." I thouht to myself. I creaked open the door, seeing only a bunch of silent people. There eyes were pondering the room. I crouched and sat on the rocky floor.
"Irene, why did you have to leave me?" I thought.
"Erm, hi. My names Rosé!" A girl in strawberry blonde hair greeted, as she elbowed the two girls sitting beside her.
"I'm Lalisa Manoban, but you can call me Lisa." The girl sitting on Rose's right introduced. She had straight blonde hair. Than, I looked at the girl with black hair. It seemed like it was tinted with the colour purple.
"Jisoo." She firmly introduced.
"We'll hi! My names Jennie Kim." I replied.
"So, are you excited about the upcoming school year? I am!" Rosé started.
"Actually, I'm pretty nervous..." I stated.
"Don't be. Lots of people said that passing through the courses is a breeze." Lisa reassured.
"Then again, hardly any people have gotten a chance..." Jisoo addressed. We spent the entire day in their, chatting about the upcoming school year.
We left the Bathe house. We entered the room as strangers, but left as friends.
"Looks like you've made some friends for yourself. I guess your on your own." Namjoon teased. I blushed. I introduced Namjoon to my new friends. He walked with us.
