Maria's P.O.V
I woke up to see green eyes leaning over me instead of the familiar blue eyes of Sophie. "who the fuck are you!?" I scream at her and suddenly punch her in the face, she clutches her nose and goes to speak but it was Sophie who spoke instead "I see you guys have met" she chuckles. The mystery girl walks over and pushes her suitcase under her bed saying "I would say it was nice to meet her but I would be lying" I glare at her but she didn't seem to notice "what do you guys do around here?" She asked Sophie "Maria likes to fight" says hannah I lifted my hands in defence "it's not my fault I have a low bullshit tolerance" before I could go any further Sophie says sarcastically "well lucky for you today is our post day"
It was too hot to be doing this but I was grateful that no one was trying to make conversation. I felt eyes piercing into my back I turned and saw him, the one who has haunted me for my whole life, the one who has caused me all my nightmares and pain, he was the one who has made me suffer. He found me. I started to walk quicker I glanced behind me noticing he was also doing the same, "hurry up guys" I whispered to Sophie and mystery girl. My walk soon turned into a jog I noticed that Sophie and the mystery girl where also following me luckily. I took one last look behind me the man had started to run for us, I grabbed Sophie's hand with the mystery girl following last "run" I yelled and I started to sprint for my life.
We rushed into the orphanage and up to our room, quickly as possible I started shoving belongings Into my bag, I was freaking out I just ignored everyone when they were trying to ask me stuff I froze as there was a knock on the door Angeline walked in "Maria sweetie there is a man downstairs asking for you" "uh I will be there in a minute" I manage to say Angeline leaves with a nod. I frantically begin shoving clothes in my bag again, when I was satisfied with what I had I ran over to the window and pulled the old thing open i knew I couldn't leave Sophie and the mystery girl here with him "coming?" I ask them they both stare at me like I'm crazy "uh where?" The mystery girl asks me "away from him" is all I say when they didn't reply I told them "if you don't come he will kill you too, he won't hesitate you know" there was a sudden knock on the door "Maria honey I know your in there" it was him I felt like I was about to throw up, we have to get out of here quickly "hurry" I whisper and crawl out the window hoping they would be following me. I run to the edge of the roof and jump, I look up and see Sophie standing nervously at the edge "come on" I yell to her "uhhh" she hesitates before jumping landing on her ass, in other circumstances it would of been funny but I was not in a laughing mood at the moment I look up expecting the mystery girl to be waiting but she is not there "hurry up" I yell to the roof I then see her head pop out "jump" Sophie and I yell at her and that's what she does.
