It was cold.

That was Changbin's first thought as he opened his eyes that early Sunday morning.

So early in fact, that the silver alarm clock on the bedside table read 4:30 am, in bright blue letters.

He shivered. Thank God i don't have to work tomorrow. He then reached over for his blanket, only to be met with a small blonde boy curled up with it on the opposite side of the bed.

Jumping, he screamed.

"Aaahh." Felix yelled, his voice even deeper than before, as he was half asleep and woke up abruptly.

Changbin stumbles backwards a bit, falling off the bed and hitting the cold, wooden floor with a thud.

Sleepy or not, Felix couldn't help but laugh at this.

"Aish." the dark haired boy mumbled to himself. Laying back on the ground, trying to hide the light blush covering his tan checks.

Felix keep giggling, his ears perking up, with a small smile on his face. He couldn't help but think about how cute Changbin was even if he was angry.. for some reason.

The older boy joined him on the bed once again, once the sleepy laughter died down a bit, this time pulling at the large blanket the younger was hoarding.

Felix pulled at it again, bringing it back over to his side. Changbin huffed and pulled it back. They continued to this for a few minutes with the blonde boys tongue stuck out in concentration.

Changbin tried to hide a smile, as he knew he should be a bit angry, considering he was freezing, and only in boxers, whereas the cat boy was wearing his sweatpants and cuddled up with his blanket.

The older boy tugged the comforter again, this time hard. So hard in fact, that Felix rolled along with it, a loud squeak coming out of his mouth.

The blonde boy was now pressed into Changbin's side and they were both covered completely in the soft material.

Changbin couldn't help but smirk to himself as he looked down and saw the younger blushing. His expression soon changed though, as the catboy snuggled into his side and wrapped his arms around the older.

"Hmm." Felix mumbled contently, his face nuzzling into the black haired boy's chest.

Changbin bit his lip, trying to think of anything but the cute boy who was now cuddling him.
A warm blush flooded to his cheeks again and he couldn't help but close his eyes.

Soon they were both fast asleep.

A few hours later, after minimal blanket pulling, Changbin's eyes opened once again.

This time though, his eyes took a few moments to adjust to the light. He smiled a bit to himself, his thoughts flooded with the events from earlier. He didn't have a dream. Last night actually happened.

Who knew he could be in such a good mood after having woken up in the middle of the night.

Warmth flooded over the pair, sunlight coming in from the window just above the bed they were sharing. It was starting to feel a bit too warm for Changbin, but something kept him from moving.

They stayed like that for a while, as the sky started to darken again.

He didn't know, or understand really, why he already felt kind of attached to the catboy. It wasn't like he knew him for a long time. Hell, he wasn't even sure if he knew him at all.

He did know that his heart did a little something when their eyes met and how it just about leaped out of his chest when he heard Felix laugh.

Changbin wanted to help him.

A loud noise, that sounded almost like thunder, had Felix's ears moving upwards before he was even fully awake. Changbin chuckled at this, as his arms instinctively moved around the younger's upper half, almost protectively, as the sound faded out.

"You didn't have to do that you know?" Felix mumbled, his chin now resting on the black haired boy's chest. "I'm not scared-"

A large crack of thunder was heard again, causing the smaller boy to jump.

"Definitely not scared." Changbin giggled as Felix rubbed his eyes.

He pouted. "I'm not."

"Whatever you say, love." the older boy smiled, pushing Felix off of him, and running into the other room.

Thunder was heard once again and the blonde boy whined, "Come back you little-"

They chased each other around a bit, felix sliding on the hard wood floor due to his socks, and Changbin laughing at his struggle.

"You look like Bambi."

"Yeah, and you look like the scary guy who shot his father." Felix smirked, cocking an eyebrow at the other boy from across the bar in the kitchen.

"How. Dare. You."

"Uh oh," Felix yelled, running back into the bedroom as quick as he could, using his pastel socks to his advantage as he slid down the hallway.

He jumped back on the bed and covered himself with the comforter, surround by Changbin's scent.

He felt strangely safe there.

This moment was ruined quickly, though, as the boy now jumped on top of Felix and was holding him hostage on the bed.

Felix huffed, as the older boy wrapped his arms and legs around him.

Then he giggled.

"What now?" Changbin said with slight annoyance in his voice.

"I win."

"What?" Changbin asked, turning the boy over to where he was hovering over him.

"I-uh," he stuttered, a small blush forming over his cheeks as he looked into Changbin's eyes. "this is exactly what i wanted in the first place."
