Niara

Where are they?! My plane landed twenty-five minutes ago. Sincere said that she would be here by the time I got off the plane. At least Alaina responded to my text.

"Niara, calm down. You're anxious and jet-lagged. Go grab some food while you wait for-"

"Niara Baptiste!" I turned around and saw Alaina, Sincere and a few boys.

"Just what I needed. To be surrounded by more boys." I mumbled to myself.

"Sorry I didn't see your text!" Sincere said as she hugged me. "My phone was literally dead, and I didn't notice until Alaina told me that you were at the airport."

"It's okay. But I really want some food." I could go for some spicy food right now. Like curry chicken or something.

"I got you fam!" Alaina says as the guys just look at me weirdly. "Oh yeah! You remember the boys from the wedding right?"

"Yeah. Um, Namjoon, Taehyung, Hoseok and Jimin, right?"

"She remembers me!" Taehyung said with a big smile on his face.

"Man child, calm down." Namjoon says as we all laugh. "Hoseok and I will grab your bags for you."

"You don't have to do that." I said as I yawned. I didn't think I would be this tired.

"We insist." Hoseok says as he and Namjoon begin to grab my bags. "Don't worry about anything."

"Thanks guys." I say with a smile. I look at Jimin and as he waves at me.

"I didn't remember you until I just looked at you." Jimin says with an apologetic voice.

"It's okay. I did lose a bit of weight after the wedding." I say as everyone starts walking to the exit of the airport.

"No you did not. You can eat like a pig and not gain any weight!" Sincere says as she laughs. I laughed along with her. I can tell that she's still sensitive about her weight, but she is getting better. I'm just glad that Hoseok was by her side the entire time.

"Anyway," Namjoon says, trying to quickly change the topic. "What do you want to eat, Niara?"

"I don't know. I never had Korean food before. What do you suggest?"

"Remember, she is from Trinidad. She might want something spicy." Alaina says as I smile at her. My child knows me so well.

"Oh! Let's go get the other members and have nakji bokkeum. We'll get some drinks, socialize. It will be super fun!" Namjoon says as I nod.

"Okay, what is 'nakji bokkeum?" Sincere asked as everyone else looked at her.

"Stir-fried octopus." We said as her eyes got wide and she nodded. We all laughed at her and got in the car.

"So Niara, I heard that you are from Trinidad. How is it like over there?" Hoseok asks me as we're eating at some restaurant. I forgot the name of it because I was only worried about food. One of their managers had called ahead of time to have the entire place to ourselves. It felt weird, but it was nice.

"It's so beautiful there." I say as I stuff more nakji bokkeum in my mouth. This stuff is delicious! It could use more spice, but its okay. "The beaches, the trees. Even our culture is amazing. If you guys ever decide to take a trip there, let me know."

"Noted. Because I really want to go there."

"Alaina told use that you have a Masters degree in International Business and that you're working on another degree also?" Jungkook says as he drinks more beer.

"Yeah. I'm working on a management degree right now."

"Yes. We love a productive queen!" Taehyung says as we all laugh.

Jimin

I can't stop looking at her. She's so beautiful and amazing. I can't believe that a strong, beautiful, independent woman like her is single!

I really like her, I do. But I don't think that I can be a good enough man to her.

Jimin, not now. Try to talk to her.

"So Niara, what made you decide to travel to Seoul?" I ask as he looks at me.

"Well, my two friends are here." She says, pointing at Sincere and Alaina. "And I'm thinking about getting a job here. But I feel like it would be impossible."

"Why is that?" Yoongi-hyung asks.

"You know how the Korean work force is." Namjoon-hyung says.

"Koreans only want Korean people or people who could possibly pass as Korean to work at their companies." Jin-hyung says as we all agree. I personally think that Jin is taking this too personal. He's been acting strange ever since Jungkook and Alaina's wedding. I'll have to ask Taehyung later.

"But, I also thought about starting my own management company. But I don't know what type of management I would want to go into." Niara says.

"You could start it for models, actors, musicians. Anything really." I said as Namjoon-hyung and Jungkook agreed with me.

"I honestly did not think about that. Thank you Jimin." Niara said as she patted her hand on top of mine.

"You're welcome." I smiled as I felt my cheeks heating up. I looked at Sincere as she gave me a smirk. I covered my mouth and started laughing. "Hoseok-hyung, Sincere is doing it again!"

"Sincere, this is the thirty-seventh time this week!" Hoseok-hyung says as everyone starts to laugh. This day has went well and I actually talked to Niara. The only girl that I spoke to besides Alaina and Sincere. I just have to keep it up.
