It was 8 in the morning nandini and abhi were waiting for the bus in the street outside their house. It was the first day of school of nandini as she was a late admission. Abhi was already familiar to the school as he was already studying there from before. They both were studying in a small school before but now they were admitted into the most prestigious school of the city. As their mother wanted her children to be the best in the academics. Navya did not get the admission because she was not able to clear the entrance. Nandini's pov Aiyappa how will i be able to adjust in the new school. Its all very new to me ,going to such a big school. What if i will not be able to perform good in academics ,amma will be disappointed . God this is so tough for me, i can't even talk to new people easily,in old school only it took so much time to make a single friend. . . . . . . . . . Walking through the corridors nandini was searching for her class. After some struggle she finallly entered her class. She was sitting quietly when some girls came and started making fun of her. Girl-Hey shortie come here and introduce yourself. Nandu went infront of them quietly, inside she was scared to hell. Nandini-My name is nandini murthy.
Girls began to laugh on her name having such an old fashioned name.
Suddenly teacher came in class.All girls dispersed to their places.
Teacher-so we have got a few admissions in the class. That's when Manik entered the class. When he entered the class ,all eyes were on him. Mr.Garg,who was the most respected teacher of the school came and introduced Manik to the whole class and and requested the class to help him as he was late. Nandini's pov Manik,the name itself stirred something in me . He is the most handsome looking man I have ever seen in my life.The smile with which he entered the class was something which took my breath away. Suddenly my subconscious mocked me as if he is going to even look at you and i rolled my eyes and shut up my mind . And as if the universe just smiled at me ,he looked at me and smiled and my world stopped there. I could not believe and i just turned around and to confirm it was me to whom he was showing his pearly white teeths. He came and sat beside me and i literally danced inside my mind .
Just then our attendance started and i was stealing glances of him or more precisely saying i was busy in gawking him. Just then i heard sir calling the name Nandi and whole class burst into laughter and the mini me aka my subconscious again came into picture and said its you they are laughing on idiot . I glared at mini me and stood up and corrected sir that its Nandini not Nandi and when i sat down he was staring at me. Great way to start Nandi and i looked up at him he was still busy in staring ,when he saw me he again showed me his charming smile and i like a fool was checking by turning around if its me to whom he is showing his teeth. He looked at my confused face and again smiled and turned and began to take out notebook from his bag . I also tried to concentrate on the class and in studies i did not realised when class got over ,and again i remembered my newly developed crush or to say my first ever crush and i saw he was looking at me only and then he waved to me and said hello and I like a complete fool again turned around to check if he was saying hello to me only and when i confirmed nobody is their behind me ,i murmured a hello to him which might not have been audible to him if it has not been he looking at me . I am Nandini , not nandi ,seriously out of all this i have to mention nandi.He laughed and said I know you said it infront of whole class that you are not nandi. I was in deep shade of red and i can literally feel heat radiating out of my face due to embarrassment. He again laughed and said its ok ,I hope you know my name ,I am Manik Malhotra and as you know I am new here so can you just help me in catching the syllabus. I think we both are late then I also joined today only, he smiled and said ok and then he got busy in conversing to other students. Like this whole day passed in the boring lectures and he would just pass me smiles occassionally during the class breaks and this time i also smiled instead of checking around . I was in the bus and staring out of the window and busy in admiring the flowers in the lawn and i saw Manik entering the bus with few of our batchmates of which i knew the names only,they were cabir ,Mukti,Alya,Dhruv.I was gawking at them when Manik waved towards me and i blushed for no reason ,he was coming towards me when he tripped and fell on me and my breath stopped.

He was literally hovering upon me and i could feel his hot breaths on my face , his hands were beside my face and he was inches away from my face staring directly into my eyes and I was lost in his eyes when he said 'breath Nandini'and I realised I was holding my breath and exhaled on which he chuckled lightly and straightened himself and sat beside me . When I looked up cabir ,Mukti ,Alya ,Dhruv all were still watching us with teasing smiles on their faces , and here my blushing session started which was pending from the time manik entered the bus. I turned my face towards the window and could hear the sound of Manik laughing on my state.
