Dearrrrr reader,
How are you today? Uh-huh, I'm doing probably alright, don't worry about your probably not favorite authoress. Anyways, this book-of-sorts was all in attempt to summarize my own experiences in grief and as a bridge gateway to give some details about the nature of Sakura's past during the events following the death of her friends and before Hinata's fated capture via Toneri.
This is so you'll understand some minor details in the story without making it seem like I pulled it out of my rear end (a.k.a. an *sspull) and vomited it back out to the world for you and fellow critics to judge the ever-living heck out of me.
Anyways, I wanted to test out my writing skills in the form of letter-writing, because it's a dying art that lives on as.. e-mails but most of the time, people nowadays are free to converse even through distance immediately so there may be no point in one-sidedly writing when you have the option to do something more convienent. But what about an insurmountable length away from one another- such as death? (No, reader, lack of Wi-Fi is not 'insurmountable'.) I've only had to deal with one such tragedy in my life, but you need to accept that it's inevitable, whether it be ten years or none, that people you know will start to disappear. It doesn't even have to be their end, it could be the end of a relationship or perhaps the estrangement of a family member.
I binged a few inspiring letters and stories about coveting loss and learning to become a better human being through those experiences, so I hope this story did turn out to be a tear-jerker as intended.
But anyways, how do you write letters to the departed?
With love,
Artemistral
