The bell went, signalling break. Garrett met me outside my second class and we headed to the cafeteria.
"So, I have some other friends. Andrew, Drew, who's my boyfriend, Morgan and Ryland, who've you met. They're really cool. You'll like them!" Garrett smiled.
We walked to a table in the cafeteria. "Everyone, meet Shane. Shane, meet everyone."
"Hi everyone." I waved, awkwardly. I sat next to Garrett and Ryland.
Everyone greeted me and I felt welcome into the group.
"So, you're new here, right?" Andrew asked.
"Yeah. It's my first day." I said.
"Well, you'll like it here! The people are nice if you ignore the jocks." Andrew said.
Garrett noticed I was worried but he put his hand on my shoulder and reassured me. "We'll look after you. Don't worry!"
I smiled. "Thanks."
We continued to talk and get to know each other. I got to know a lot about them all.
"So, what's your next lesson?" Morgan asked.
I got my time table out and looked. "I have english."
Morgan looked over at my time table and she smiled. "Andrew has that lesson."
"Oh, that's good." I said.
The bell went and I said goodbye to everyone and walked with Andrew to english.

The bell went, signalling lunch. I had my last lesson with no one so I packed my bag and started to go meet everyone.
I felt someone behind me and they pushed me and I fell on the floor.
"Oops. Sorry, loser." The person said. I looked up and saw a big, buff guy who was in a football shirt. I panicked.
"It's fine." I got up and he pushed my against the lockers.
He put his hand in a fist and I closed my eyes, ready for what was to come.
"Get off him, Logan!" Another person said.
"This isn't over." He whispered to me. I felt him let go and he pushed me to the floor.
"Are you okay?" The person asked. I opened my eyes and saw Ryland.
"I- yeah." I said, looking up at Ryland.
"I'm just glad you're okay." Ryland helped me up and he hugged me.
"Thanks for saving me." I said to him, laughing softly.
We hugged for only a few seconds later and we walked to meet the others.

"Finally, you're here!" Garrett said to me and Ryland as we sat next to each other.
"Yeah. It's just-" Ryland looked at me. "Shane ran into Logan."
"Logan?" Andrew said. Ryland nodded. "What an ass."
"Wait, Logan's that jock who thinks he's better than everyone." Morgan asked.
"Yep." Ryland said.
"Logan Paul?" Drew asked.
"Yep." Ryland said.
"He is an ass. Did he hurt you?" Drew asked me.
"No. Ryland came just in time." I smiled at Ryland. Ryland smiled back.
"Wait. Ryland scared him off?" Morgan asked. I nodded. Morgan burst out laughing. "He couldn't scare a duck let alone Logan."
"Hey! I am scary!" Ryland did a pose that made Morgan laugh even harder.
"No you're not!" Morgan laughed.
"I hate you." Ryland said.
"I hate you too, bro!" Morgan said, punching his arm.
