Chapter 2

Jade woke up to her phone vibrating next to her. She pick it up from her nightstand and saw that she had 3 missed calls from leigh and 5 new messages from her. She woke up very late today after having that long ass plane ride back home. She got up, went to the restroom, did her stuff then got in the shower. Once jade got out the shower. She put on a white crop top on and black jeans on, then she went to go get her phone to check what leigh was texting her about:

leigh leigh: jade i know you're sleeping right now but i got an early flight out to south shields.

leigh leigh: i wanted to surprise you but i forgot you always end up finding out somehow so i knew that was gonna be useless.

leigh leigh: btw my plane lands early in the morning, hope your up by then.. to pick me up hehe :) goodnight jadey. Delivered: 1:00 am

leigh leigh: JADE!!! why ain't you here to pick me up!!!!

leigh leigh: nvm perrie came to pick me up.. 😒see ya later

Jades POV

omgg i can't beileve i left her hanging. i grabbed my car keys and dialed up leigh, "leigh omg im so so sorry" "it's fine jade, you were probably really tired." "where are you right now, so i could pick you up, you still at the airport?" i asked, driving carefully but fast. "no jade, im not" leigh laughed at the other end of the phone. " why u laughing, i left you kind of stranded". i chuckled, scratching the back my head. "it's fine, perrie picked me up.".

My heart sped up at the thought of her name. "um jade you still there, kind of left me hanging again" I jumped up when i heard leighs voice. "oh sorry, I spaced out" I had to make a U-turn to head back home. "oh", "is perrie in the room right now?" i asked fidgety.

"yeah, she is" i could see leigh smirking at the other end of the phone. "you want me to call her up" "NO" i yelled as i parked my car back in my driveway. "jeez jade you didn't need to yell in my ear" i heard her laugh. "hey leigh, I'm ready if your ready to head out" "yeah i am, I'm right behind ya"

i heard a slight 'ok' after their small convo. "was that her leigh" "yeah it was, were heading out to catch up, you wanna join? it's the perfect opportunity, to you know talk to her" i was debating either i should or not.. "no leigh you go on without me, maybe next time" "you sure jadey?" "yeah im sure", i let out a sigh. "alright then jadey, we'll catch up on our own when i get back ok. love you jadey, see ya later." "see ya later" and i hung up, while i got out the car my mom came out.

"hiya baby, what you doing in the car, i heard a scream you ok bug?" she looked so concern. "yeah mum I'm ok, was just on the phone with a friend" i smiled at my mom. "ok, come on sweaty let's get you something to eat." my mum lend out her hand for me to grab.

*25 Min later*

After my mum made me something to eat, i went back up to my room to unpack. damn i really missed being in my old room, "i can't believe i left this behind", i told myself as i started looking around. but then i started remember why i did it. "i did this for you mom" i told myself as i continue un-packing.

*knock knock*

"come in" my mom walks in. "how's the unpacking going baby" my mum asked me. "i'm almost done, it looks like you have some in mind, everything ok mum?" now it was my turn to be concern. "it's actually why i came in to talk to you about" she walked to where i was sitting. "me and your father are going away on trip for a couple weeks." my face fell.

"what, but i just came back, aren't you glad to see me" i said trying not to let the tears fall. "we are baby, but it's a trip for your fathers company if he doesn't take it, he could lose his job" i looked down at my hands. "you understand right jade?" your 27 now jade be the bigger person, i told myself. "yeah i do mum, how long till ya'll get back?" I wipe the tears that threatened to fall.

"we leave tomorrow, but we'll be back before you know it." "alright" i looked back down at my fingers. "jade look at me" I made contact with my mom. "if you don't want to be alone invite your friends or Jesy. I know you guys left on a bad note, and i know she'll be happy to hear your back, but you're 27 years old now do whatever you want, ok?" "ok," "we love you baby" I love you too mum" as i said that my mum walked out my childhood room.

Perrie's POV

As i was getting my routine done, my phone starting buzzing indicating i was a getting a call. It read "leigh" "whatt leigh anne is calling me" i told myself. "hey leigh, why the sudden call" i chuckled.

"haha sorry for the random call but are you busy right now?" she laughed. "no im not busy, just finished doing my routine. why is everything ok?" i asked a little confused. "oh good, I'm in town to visit a friend but she ain't answering my calls or messages, and i remember you told me you were coming down to south shields to visit your mum, and i was wondering if i could get a ride from you?" she asked hopelessly.

"of course i can, where are you right now?" i asked while grabbing my car keys and walking down the stairs.

"i'm still here at airport, ughh im gonna kill jade" i chuckled at her as i started driving to the airport. "can you call me back when your here pez?" "yeahh of course, see you then" i hanged up, but tell me why I've heard that name before..

*15 Min later*

"ahhh, girl i missed you soo muchh" leigh hugged me. "omg i missed you too, we gotta catch up" i told her while i helped her put her things in my trunk. "we def do, but how you been girl" "i've been good, just glad i got a break to come stay with family for a while, what about you. How you been?" i asked while i started heading back home. "i've been good too, but yeah it is great to get a break from the FAME right" we laughed together.

"ok so this is my fam's house you could stay as long as you want or until your friend answers you" i chuckled, as we were pulling into my driveway. "oh i know she won't answer till later in the afternoon, i'll just stick around for a little while." leigh laughed. "ok, so let's take your things up to my room"

i chuckled with her. "we should go get lunch so we can catch up, only if you want to tho" i asked as we set her things down on my bedroom floor. "yeah of course" "ok lemme just change to some better jeans" i laughed.

"leigh, where's that buzzing coming from" i asked as i grab my make up bag. "oh it's jade calling, you go change and tell me when your done so we could leave ok" leigh told me with a smile, and i responded with a simple 'ok'. "it's fine jade, you were probably really tired." that's all i heard after i left the room.

*a few minutes later*

"hey leigh, im ready if your ready to head out" "yeah i am, i'm right behind ya" "ok" i told her as i stayed behind the door trying to hear. yeahh i know it's bad to eavesdrop but come on everyone does it.. right?..

"yeah it was, were heading out to catch up, you wanna join? it's the perfect opportunity,  to you know talk to her" were they talking about me? "alright then jadey, we'll catch up on our own when i get back ok. love you jadey, see ya later."

I guess she said no, why did i kinda feel sad. what the hell?? i left the door as soon as i heard leigh end the call. "you ready to go pez?" leigh asked. "yeah im ready, let's go" i told her as i grabbed my keys and started heading out the door.
