The war was taking it's toll. It was beginning to look as if F.E.A.R. had won.

The Wild Ones had fallen willingly under capture for the safety of the Army. They would rather be the ones to fade away than the Legion as a whole.

Five years they had spent behind bars as the war had continued to be waged against who now led the Army in their place; their children. Five years they had spent fearing for the safety of their heirs.

Now the Wild Ones were to be put to death.

Andy, Ashley, Jake, Jinxx, and CC were each handcuffed then shoved into a single-file line. They were completely silent as four guards led them down the hall of vacant jail cells.

They were met by another set of guards at the elevator. One stepped forward. "We are to take the rebels from here," A female voice spoke with authority.

"What?" The guard left of Andy was confused.

"Orders from on high," The female guard stated, referring to President Harris, leaving no room for argument.

"Very well," The guard said, "They're all yours."

"Alright rebels," She addressed the guys, "Walk." With deep-set frowns they obeyed. The guys were led downstairs and outside. They were put on a transport truck one by one.

The Wild Ones sat down quietly as the guards climbed in behind them. The truck began to move once the doors were shut. The jail's grounds were insanely large. It would take a while to cover the several miles to the front gate.

The first guard stood in front of Ashley. Ashley looked up at her with a hateful glare.

"You don't seem very happy, Deviant," She told him.

"We're going to our deaths. There's no fuckin' reason for any of us to be happy," Ashley stated. The corner of his frown twitched angrily when she simply chuckled.

"We could give you a reason to be happy," The driver spoke up as he looked at them all in the rear-view mirror.

"Highly doubt that," Andy said.

The guards each pulled out a key and released each of them from their bonds.

"What...?" Andy couldn't get the question out of his mouth. He couldn't understand what was happening.

Their enemy was helping them.

"Why are you doing this?" Jinxx asked as they all stared at the guards dumbfounded.

"Because the war with F.E.A.R. isn't over," The guard in front of Jinxx, who was also female, stated.

"And it isn't over until the Wild Ones rise again and lead the Army to victory," The guard in front of Andy added. A male.

"What do you care if the Army wins? Who the hell are you?" Jake frowned.

The guards looked at each other then back at the prisoners. Starting with the one before The Prophet they took off their helmets one at a time.

The rebels could only stare in shock.

"No way," CC said and looked at the driver to watch him take off his helmet.

The female guard crouched in front of Ashley and took off her helmet to reveal long brown hair and a beautiful crying face.

They had to be dreaming.

Ashley took her face in his hands. The warmth of her skin proved they were awake.

"Carina..." Ashley couldn't believe it.

"Hi Daddy," Carina smiled softly through her tears.

Ashley pulled Carina into his arms and hugged her tightly as he buried his face into her neck and soft hair, "Baby girl..."

Andy jumped to his feet and jerked Garrett into his arms by the collar as Jake and Jinxx went to Aleks and Rue.

"JC!" CC went to the screened window that separated them from the driver with a huge smile.

"Hey Dad!" JC grinned at him.

"What in the damn fuckin' hell are you kids doing here?" Andy asked as they passed the three mile marker.

The kids were stripping of the guard uniforms.

"Saving your asses. Why else would we be here?" Garrett looked at him with a grin.

"You kids are crazy," Ashley smirked.

"Yeah," All five of them stated.

Suddenly a red alert alarm began to blare obnoxiously loud.

"Oh fuck," Rue said.

Carina was loading the gun she had, "I thought it would take the morons longer to figure it out."

"We have company!" Aleks stated next to Garrett as he looked through the back door windows to see police cars coming after them.

"JC, punch it!" Carina shouted to the youngest.

"Everybody hold onto something!" JC told them before pressing harder on the gas.

They yelled as they fell over with the force of the truck picking up speed.

Carina went to the back windows and started shooting out wheels on the cars.

They had six miles to go until they reached the front gate.

Carina gasped when a guard on top of a truck pulled out a weapon, "It's a bazooka! Get down!"

They hit the floor of the truck. There was loud whistling then an explosion in front of them. They were blocked off by a wall of fire.

"Detour! Detour! Detour!" JC yelled as they approached the fire. He turned the truck sharply to the right on two wheels as the tires squealed.

The rest were sliding around trying to hang on. When they were able to stand up they saw they were heading for the east gate.

The gate was beginning to close.

"Oh I don't think so, bitches!" JC said and floored the gas petal. The back of the truck hit the gate coming up from beneath them. The rear bumper came flying off.

Carina army crawled forward and reached for a remote in the pocket of the uniform she was wearing. She pressed the button and each tower of the wall surrounding the jail exploded simultaneously therefore cutting the enemy off.

The group stood up and watched in awe as the compound went up in flames. JC could see it from the driver side mirror.

They made it.

JC took the back way out of the city and headed into the night covered desert.

The group sat down. Andy looked at the children and smirked, "You had this whole escape planned out."

Carina smiled, "Five years is a long time to think." She stood up with the rest, "Now that that's over..." They each pulled out something hiding in the discarded uniforms.

They each stood in front of the Wild Ones and held out leather vests with the symbol of the Legion and writing on the back.
