"RAE!!!!!!!" My master bellowed out my name. "Y-yes! I'm coming!!!" I want to become a wizard. My name is Rae. Right now I'm literally starting at the beginning. My job; serve my master until he says otherwise. Ohhh goodie. "My boy, Rae, I need you to go to the south wing of the forest and find some frog's breath, the scales of an organically shedded fairy's wings and last but not least, the drool of a manticore. They are for a very important potion that could make us be able to fly, morph into other creatures, teleport and become invisible. I need these ingredients by the end of the week, so try to be quick." My master Elder Granpappy explained while handing me a list. "But, sir, that spell is advanced! I mean, even if I did go, we are forgetting the hair of a---" I was cut off by my master saying, "The hair of a changeling?" He chuckles as he holds up a bottle with a fuzzy clump of what seems to be the hair. "Oh... Okay, well I guess I'll get packed... I'll be in my room getting ready." "Alright, remember to be careful around the manticore! Grab some snake eyes to put it to sleep if it gives you trouble!" He points out. "I know!!!" I say as I walk into my room to get packed with my own thoughts trailing through my mind. "Do you think he will get it done in time?" Elder Grandpappy's wife said to Elder Grandpappy. "I hope so. This is his last chance to show me he is mature enough to be a wizard, and if he doesn't, then he will have to be banned from magic forever." "Alright, I'm gonna get going!" I call as I walk out. "Alright! Remember, end of the week!" "Yes sir!" and I'm off! After a while I find a frog that is willing to burp for me, so then once I finally got that I went for the next thing to collect, the fairy wing scales, which took a while. It took an entire day just to get the wings! Then I used my knife to cut the scales off. Then I was on my way to the Mountain of Myths, where most manticores are known to live at. I only had three days left to get the manticore drool, and then get back home. But then I was in the Plains of Palace Mischief when a fox walked past me grumbling and mumbling to himself. "Hey, excuse me? Are you alright?" I asked a bit concerned. "Well, all my friends just told me things that bullies would tell me, so no, not really." He said sounding hurt and almost... Angry? "Well if you really feel that upset, then.... I'll be your friend!" I said, the original task at hand a million miles from my mind now. "R-really?!? Thank you!" He said happily. For the next two days, we played, and played, and played.... We were sitting down having a picnic to relax during lunch, when I realized, "Oh shoot!!!" "What's wrong Rae?" the fox asked concerned and wide eyed. It was the last day of the week! "I have to go!!!!!!" I stated, gathering my stuff as I said that. 'Oh no no no no no noooooo...... This is bad, this is really bad!' I thought to myself as I started to leave. "B-but, what about me!!!" The fox yelled. "I'm sorry fox, but if I don't go, I could get in very bad trouble! But I'll never forget you!" I said as I was leaving. When I got back Elder Grandpappy was really upset. "That was your last chance!!!!!! You are now banned from magic for eternity!!!!!!!!" And ever since that day, I have gotten what I needed to get done, when it was needed to be done. That is why we should all do it then and there.

Don't put it off. Do it while you have time.
