Chapter 1

Someone's pov:

A car that was driven safely by a man, with his wife and their little kid. Happy faces are all you can see. Then a flash with the car destroyed on the road, ambulance and police cars, a screaming little girl in pain, that pain wasn't just because of the damage caused by the accident, it was also for a flash that shows two dead bodies. That's what I see everyday in my dreams. That caused me to get up in shock. That nightmare is chasing me for so long.

I looked at the clock and it was seven am. I went to prepare myself for the new day. I washed my face and brushed my brown quite long hair that reaches a little below my shoulders. I looked at the file that my boss gave me. I opened it and flip the pages. "My next target" I tell myself proudly.Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Catherine. I'm a spy.

No one's pov:

In a building that looks very upgraded, many agents are walking or training including one guy. He was a bit tall, with blue eyes and a beard. He knocked a door and got into the room on hearing a deep but strong voice saying "Come in". There was the man sitting on a chair before his office, wearing a suit. He has blue eyes as well and well built too like the young guy, but he had no beard and his hair is so short.

"You asked me to come here" the young man said while he was standing

"Oh yeah indeed, Ian. Come. Have a seat" Ian sat

"So, you said it's urgent. What's it?"

"Well, Martin Lewis has been going into many missions. Apparently he's still looking for more information about secret projects or weapons."

"Really!! That guy didn't get done with killing and stealing!"

"Unfortunately yes, he didn't get done with it." The man said holding a file "We need to take him down. Bringing him to justice would be the perfect thing to do."

"With my respect, we both know, everybody knows that taking him down is impossible and we all know why"

"I know ,Ian. Which is why I asked you to come. To start and make a move"

"I don't get it. How are we supposed to do this?"

"Well, that's a good question" he said smiling

"I know that smile. Tell me what to do" Ian said excitingly

"I want you to know that we won't be alone doing this mission. There's someone who can help us. In fact, once we get that person on our side, Martin is doomed"

"Who is that person? If that person can help us that far why didn't we get him from the beginning?"

"We didn't have enough strength to get that person in the past, but now, we have what we need to get that person"

"So?"

"Your mission is to go after and lead that person here to be with us and meet with me"

"Okay" saying in a doubt "You didn't tell me. Who's that person?"

The man gave Ian the file. Once he opened it and looked, he became shoked

"No. no no no no . I can't do this no no no "

"Why are you saying this?"

"Why?! really?! James that's .. That's .. Running after her means I'm a dead man"

"Really? How do you know that?" saying in a deep voice

"James do you know who you're asking me to chase?"

"I know. Catherine Reynolds"

You may wonder why is Ian worried about getting Catherine by himself alone. Well, let's just get to know her a little bit. Catherine Johnathan White Reynolds, she's also known among agents as 'The eliminator'. She works for an organization called 'The black mark' lead by Martin Lewis. She's known to be the most dangerous agent as whoever stands in her way is dead. Literally she killed everyone who tried to stop her or the organization she works for. She's very deadly. Unlike any other agent you might heard of, she's the pro. No body can be in her skills. Ian faced her before and nobody -including him - knows why and how he survived.

"I can't believe how calm you are .. You're asking me to bury myself alive" he said with a little anger mixed with worry

"Not true. You're the perfect one to do this mission. You'll survive and bring her here. I know that"

"How are you so sure? I survived once and I don't know if I can do it again"

"You'll . Why do you think you got trained so much in a way harder than the others? You also survived back there for a reason. You can do it" Ian looked down at the file then closed his eyes remembering what happened and shook his head with disbelief

"I understand, Ian. But when you look at the facts, you're the only one who can do it"

Ian took his breath and opened his eyes and said with determination "When do I start?"

James smiled proudly
