❤️ Valentines Library Embarrassment ❤️

Some students sat down on a couch in the library and some sat on the carpet. All the students including Tails, Sonic, Amy, and Cream wondered why there were cupcakes and lollipops and candy and decorations in the library. Their teacher told them to get and read books before the Valentines party starts. And all the students shouted, "YAY!!" Then the teacher said, "shh this is a library remember. The party hasn't started yet ☺️" "oops sorry. Yay!!.." The students whispered. Sonic sat on a couch and read a book. Amy was in front of Sonic on a ladder getting a book on the top of one of the book shelves. The ladder was not that steady so it was shaking a bit. As soon as Amy got a book she wanted, the ladder shook a lot and Amy fell. But then Sonic dropped his book and caught Amy before she fell to the ground. Amy shut her eyes tightly. Amy thought in her head (I'm not dead yet? I'm not hurt? Did I pass out?) She slowly opened her eyes and saw that she was in Sonic's arms. Sonic realized Amy opened her eyes so he quickly put her down and scratched the back of his head and said in a shaky voice "oh.. Hey Amy I didn't see you there..heh." Sonic's face started to turn red because he didn't know if she saw that he was holding her. "Haha.. It's fine. No need to worry. Tomato" Amy giggled. "What? Where? Tomato? Who??" Sonic said confused. Amy laughed and poked the tip of Sonic's nose, "The only tomato I see is in front of me." Amy looked around and back at sonic. "Wait me? Oh no.. Is-" sonic got cut off "yep.. Your as red as a tomato!" Amy looked at sonic innocently "anyways, how bout' we forgot about the whole tomato thing and go look for some books!" Amy grabbed Sonic's arm and pulled him to one of the book lanes. Amy and sonic looked for books for awhile until they both finally found a book and surprisingly they both liked it. "Oh hey! Have you seen this book before? I heard it was a good story." Amy asked "Oh yeah, I heard about it too. I haven't read it yet, but I'm sure it's  good" Sonic and Amy both reached for the book, but then they both grabbed it at the same time so their hands touched. They both looked at eachother for a quick second and quickly hid their hands behind their back and looked around like completely nothing happened. "Uhm, y-you could read the book. I'll just read it another time when your done *cough cough*" Sonic felt embarrassed, again his face turned red (as a tomato) "nah it's fine. I've read that book before, sooooo. You can read it for now, I can read it any other time soon if I wanted to." Amy also turned red a little. They both fought for the other to have the book, back and forth. Finally they stopped because Tails and Cream walked by to see them. They both quickly grabbed the book by each corner, "HERE TAKE THIS BOOK ITS REALLY GOOD!" They rushed over to them and gave it to them. "Uhh.. Sure? Why not" Tails and Cream looked at eachother confused. Amy said to herself "Okay...THAT was just..embarrassingly awkward." She inhaled "Hah. It's fine, no need to panic and all. Just breath, and it'll be fi-" someone put their hand on Amy's shoulder, she turned around to see who it was.

Amy's POV
AH! Oh jeez it's sonic, Uhm what do I say? Does he still know about the thing?! Why does he look so handsomely attractive?! *gasp* Oh my gosh I can't believe I just said that. Ugh, Amy just stop. This is just all in your head. Take a deep breath in and out. Oh gosh why am I sweating?? I'm just an embarrassment in front of sonic sometimes. He's so cute though! AMY OH MY GOSH PLEASE. Stop this nonsense it's just in your head. Maybe I'll talk to cream about this later. She's my best friend and she helps me a lot when I'm frustrated or if I need someone to talk to. This is weird, I'm sweating, my cheeks are turning more red! Do I have feelings for sonic? Ah no it can't, this is just all in my head. But the more I keep saying stuff about sonic the more I sweat and the more my cheeks turn red. I can't help it he's just so... Cute~ AH Amy just shut ur mouth he's talking now. Uh I'm not sure what to say. What's he gonna say?? It's okay just listen and act normal.
End of Amy's POV

"Amy? Who you talkin' to? Are you alright? You don't look okay. Your sweating and your cheeks are really red. Do you have a fever? Maybe I should take you to the nurse's room." Sonic was worried a little. "Ah? OH I don't have a fever I'm just... SWEATY. Ya' know haha. It's really hot in here. Aren't you sweaty too? Yeah it's hot in here. That's why my cheeks are red and I'm sweating a lot" Amy wiped the sweat off her forehead. "Uhh no? It's actually just a bit chilly in here, maybe your sweating. But your cheeks might be red because it's chilly in here? Here you could wear my scarf." Sonic passed his scarf to Amy, but she denied "ahh no it's fine. Keep your scarf, it makes you look cute." Amy realized what she said and she was stood frozen. Sonic was surprised by the words Amy said. "Ehem.. Pardon me? Again?" Sonic questioned Amy, but she couldn't say a word. She was in shock, "Uhm. I-I-I didn't.. Uh. Eh I meant. S-something else." Amy mumbled. Sonic smirked and he tried to get Amy to say the words she said before. "Oh really now Amy? What DID you mean to say then?" Amy tried to think of an excuse but nothing came in mind. She tried to think of something "I meant that. That.. Uh" she tried harder but still, nothing. "You meant that what?" Sonic still trying to get Amy to say it. "HEY! Would ya stop bein' so pushy and let me finish!" Amy complained because sonic wouldn't stop. "Let you finish your sentence after you said that I was cute~?" Sonic smirked again and raised one eyebrow. "What?! No! I-I uh. I meant. UGH fine! I told you to keep the scarf because I said you looked cute in it! HAPPY NOW?!" Sonic laughed. "Pleasure. Plus I knew you were too nervous to admit that I look cute. I'm sorry. I only teased you because you looked cute when your mad." Amy was embarrassed, "y-you what... Did. Did you just say that.. I was-" Sonic cut off Amy,"cute? Then, yes. I did." Amy hid her face and ran to the bathroom. Amy looked in the mirror and fixed her hair. She washed her face to cool off for a minute. And then she went back to the library. She peeked out the door to see if Sonic was around or not. "No sign of him yet." She walked in and looked if Sonic was around again. She turned behind her while walking and when she look forward she was 3 inches away from Sonic. *gulp* "ah hey there you are Amy. I've been looking for you. I just wanted to say I'm sorry for what happened earlier. I was just teasing you. Hope I didn't make you too upset or embarrassed?" Sonic tilted his head and look at Amy innocently, "It's fine, even if I was a little embarrassed it's okay. I accept your apology" Amy smiled at Sonic and he smiled back. "Great! Alright let's both get a book to read together" Sonic patted Amy's head before looking in one of the book lanes. They both found a book they could read together. Sonic and Amy went to sit on a couch in the library and read the book together. The book was about 'Romance'
They we half way into the book until'... Amy took Sonic's arm and put it around her shoulder and rested her head on his shoulder. Sonic was flattered but shocked by Amy's actions.

Sonic's POV
I know I teased Amy but, IS THIS SOME KINDA PAY BACK?! I'm not sure if I'm embarrassed, flattered, uncomfortable or comfortable, but it feels like all. I already apologized. Or am I just seeing things? I looked at her again. NOPE! Definitely not seeing things, this is reality. Amy just moved closer to me.. WHAT DO I DO?? Should I make an excuse that my arm and shoulder hurts? No. Too late for that. If I went back in the past I'm pretty sure I would've felt like I was in a dream world come true but no. This is now. Like NOW NOW. (That sounded weird I dunno know) ugh Sonic just go with it. I rested my head on Amy's head and I don't know why I just did that. Why do I suddenly feel embarrassed? Doesn't matter just be calm. I'm just gonna slowly stop resting my head or hers. Luckily she notice. Let's just read the book already.
End of Sonic's POV plus Magic time skip

Sonic and Amy were on the last page of the book. And then they finished it. "Hey wasn't that a good story?" Sonic asked Amy "yep. It's was really cute too when they became couples." Sonic went to go put the book back while Amy sat on the couch waiting. As soon as Sonic came back the teacher called the students "Okay class come sit back down on the carpet." They all did. "So since its Valentine's Day we'll be throwing a party here since its the biggest room and we have the most amount of students here." Shadow sighed "wow finally I've waited sitting on the couch doing nothing but reading the same book over and over again" knuckles looked at shadow "I know right, it's boring. Finally we get a treat."
