"God would always shout at me, I hadn't tied my robe right, or I hadn't passed on the message. I was sick of helping God.

That's right, throw your garbage at me, I'm the Devil. I wasn't always so. Once an angel, but I could never do it right. Born bad. Lived bad. But will never die.

I love the fiery depths of Hell. I feed on fear and I support the hate, I love the bad, I defeat the good. You better be a good girl and go to bed tonight, my dear, unless you want me to poke you with my fork," he'd said.

"Why did you stop being good?" I'd asked, curious like a child always had been.

"The tail grew, and the other angels made fun of me. My iife revolved around fixing halos. I didn't want to do so. I pulled off each and every feather of my wings, ripped my robes, and my tail broke a little, and I made those parts my horns," he'd grabbed his tail, soothing himself.

"Why Hell though?"

"To get away from Heaven I had to go as far as possible. Heaven is in the sky, above ground, so I went to Hell, which is below ground. Now go to sleep, my child," he'd soothed my head, my father was Satan, and I was going to follow in his footsteps.

"Well, sing mum's song!" I'd wailed, my horns cold and my small tail hitting him.

"She walked along the highway

The biggest evil in disguise

Everyone knew she was crazy

They could see it in her eyes

She walked along the pier

The she-demon of Earth

She'd walked across them all

From Blackpool to Perth

She walked along the fair

A child cried at sight

She went on all the rides and

Gave the queue a fright

She walked along the street

To reach her quiet home

Where she sat and cried

Forever alone

She walked along the coast

Missing company so

She could never make a friend

Her secret always would show

She walked around the world

Looking for a friend

She could never find one

Her life she chose to end

She fell down to Hell

Where she met her hubby

And they had a daughter

Cute and chubby

They called her Trinity

Because it was heavenly

They also had a son

They called him Envy

So You, Envy, and Me

We chose to be devils three

While Mum tried to change

She was strange

We killed her

Ate her

She tasted

Loved her

Missed her..." Dad went quiet.

"I don't miss her!" I insisted, flames flickering out of my tail.
