By the time the plane has reached its destination in America not far from a little town called Pleasantville, the moon is high in the sky and it is accompanied by bright twinkling stars.  There is a state of rush among the passengers. They are probably eager to get home to their families or meet their friends or even get to their hotel rooms to sleep because it has been a long journey from England, UK.

Kaylin Marshall and Imogen Clarkson get up from their seats and begin walking down the plane to the exit. Kaylin and Imogen are best Friends and they have been inseparable for decades, never growing tired of each others company. Every day is an adventure together and it is easy to go on adventures since they never had to worry about getting old. The only thing that is stopped them is the evil, cruel and manipulative vampire who turned them. Now, they are on the run again to try and escape. It is possibly a bad idea because he always ends up finding them sooner or later, but they aren't going to give up fighting for their freedom.

"Are you sure he won't find us here?" Imogen asks her best friend as they step off the plane.

"I'm sure," Kaylin replies, but she ie far from sure. "Well I'm hoping," she adds.

After collecting their bags they leave the airport. There is taxis' parked on the street outside. Hopefully, one is free to take them to the nearest and cheapest motel.

"Come on let's go ask a taxi driver if they can take us to a motel," Imogen says and heads towards the nearest cab.

"Okay," Kaylin agrees and follows after her.

Imogen bends down, so that her head is level with the window.

"Hi, excuse me we just want to know can you please take us to the closest and cheapest motel?" She asks the taxi driver.

"Sure there's one not far from a place called Pleasantville, it's just on the highway that leads there. It's fairly cheap too," he replies.

"Okay thank you. Can you take us there?" Imogen asks.

"Of course hop in," the taxi driver replies.

The two friends get in the back and throw their backpacks to the floor of the car, before fastening their seat belts. The taxi begins to move and they look at each other and smile at the fact that they are riding in an American taxi. Even more, so that they are over a thousand miles away from their evil creator, until he turns up again, but at least they get to see America. They turn to the windows and look out, taking in the sights. After a while they come to a highway, that isn't as busy as the others. There is only a few other cars on the road beside themselves.

Off in the distance they notice a building. It isn't very big,  but it was larger than a regular house, it is just smaller than a large hotel. It has to be the motel. The taxi driver keeps driving until he pulls up outside.
"Here you go girls, that'll be $13 dollars please," he says.

Kaylin took out the money from her purse and hands it over to the driver. "Thank you so much," she says when he hands back the change.

"Yeah, thank you," Imogen says as they both pick up their bags getting ready to leave the car.

"You're welcome," he tells them and then they get out the car.

He drives away leaving them stood looking at the old, musty building. The vacancy sign is blinking infrequently, lighting up the pathway every so often. They walk forwards, up the path and towards the door and enter. The inside is decorated in a way that if they hadn't seen the outside they would think, that the house was built not that long ago. Behind the desk is a woman in her late 40s. She has short blonde hair and when the friends walk in she looks up and smiles, as if she is generally over joyed they had. Both Kaylin and Imogen thinks, that it was possible they didn't get many people checking in and that they might be the only guests there tonight. They walk towards the desk.

"Hi, can we have a room for two please?" Kaylin asks when the reach it.

"Sure two single beds yeah?" She wonders.

"Yeah," Kaylin replies.

"OK what name should I put it in?" The woman asks taking a pen from the stationery holder. They are unsure what to name to give. If they give either of their real names it might be easier for Alijah, their turner to find them. An alias could work better, but their is others with the same name, besides it would be a while until he figures out where they have run off to. They have been sure to not leave a trail behind. He'd have to use his powers to find them and it would take a while for them to pin point their location and by the time they did they'd hopefully be off to a new state. However, to be on the safe side Imogen decides to give a fake last name.

"Imogen Smith," she says.

"OK," the woman says and writes down her name. "How long will you two be staying?"

"We aren't sure yet," Kaylin replies.

"So is it okay if we just book for tonight and if we decide to stay longer tonight can we check in again for longer tomorrow morning?" Imogen asks.

"Sure why not? It's not like we are full and it's been quiter than usual this week. Although, I might not be here in the morning. It will be my daughter," the woman tells them.

"Okay, thank you," Imogen says, greatfully.

"Yes, thanks," Kaylin adds.

Kaylin and Imogen split the price of the room and hand it to the woman. "Anyway, here's the key," the woman says and then takes a key from the key holder on the wall, and hands it too them.

Kaylin takes it from her and looks at the key ring it has a room number written on it. It is the  number 2. Both of them head down the corridor to find their room. They find it and they enter and throw their bags on the beds. Then sit down on them.

Kaylin turns to Imogen, deep in thought. "Let's go back to School."
