A/N: Before I begin, I just want to apologise for going MIA for quite sometime. My health is getting worse, but I am back for now. And I would just like to point out that this Imagine right here is my favourite of all time! I love cute ones like these! Keep sending me cute ideas like these, they make me giddy and make my heart melt.
*Your POV*
As your eyes slowly flutter open, everything was black. Your breathing started to pick up as your anxiety started to spike, you opened your eyes as wide as they could go, even stuck your finger close to your eye, being game enough to ever so gently touching your eye ball in case you didn't believe your eyes were actually open. But surely enough, they were, you just couldn't see...
Sitting up quickly which you soon regretted, sharp pains surging through your head and down your neck. Soon enough, tears were escaping your eyes. Soft cries escaping you.
You heard footsteps coming into the room, you just sit there and listen. The first thing you hear is a sympathetic sigh.
"Y/N...I can't imagine how you're feeling right now. Do you remember what happened?" A female voice asks you.
You fidget with your shaky hands, gripping the blanket that's draped over you.
"No I don't..." You let out a shaky breath.
"Okay, well I'm your doctor. Dr Fraser. I've been looking after you since you came in last night, you were unconscious when you came into the ER. You had a friend come in the ambulance with you who explained the incident to us. You were out at a club, when a man approached you for a dance. You politely declined and was walking away when it got a little out of hand and you got knocked out. Until the police actually get their hands on the surveillance in the club...we won't know if it was intentional or accidental. But as far as we've been told, you were knocked against glass, breaking some of it into your scalp and neck." Dr Fraser explains.
You sit there in shock, absorbing the information coming your way.
"Well that explains the pain, but what about my blindness?" You ask in panic.
"A knock that hard can cause temporary blindness." Dr Fraser sighs.
Your face lights up a little.
"Temporary? You're telling me...I will be able to see again?" You ask.
You feel Dr Fraser's hand lightly grasp yours.
"Yes sweetheart. But you need to work hard on getting better and do what you're told for your recovery, if you don't...your sight will take longer to come back or may not come back." She explains.
You sigh in relief as you squeeze her hand lightly.
"I'll do whatever it takes!" You say.
"Good, lets start by getting some rest." She says as she lets go of your hand.
You hear her leave the room. You just sit there for a moment, unsure what to do. You aren't exactly tired, you cant do anything anyway...not like you can read a book or watch tv.
*Prince's POV*
I stare down at the cheap box of chocolates that I got from the General Store, then back up at the screen in the corner of the elevator to see what floor I'm on. Deciding whether I should be a better friend and stop a floor lower and get Tony something better or just give them to him anyway and risk getting them thrown at me. I shrug my shoulders and smirk.
