Jess passed Officer Blunts badge from one hand to other. Tossing it like a hot potato, admiring the gold of it. It was hell of a lot fancier the the malls security badges she was used to seeing. The aluminum badges the fake cops loved to throw around as if it mattered, trying to scare young kids into acting civil at the mall.
" Its like....a lot heavier then it looks, isn't it ? " Jess said as she rapidly tossed it in the air before then catching it.
" Not as heavy as the burden of the responsibility is when carrying it. " Marcus said suave, trying to be poetic.
Just to make sure she had her cops undivided attention, Jess tossed Marcus's badge in the air one last time. She heaved it a whole lot stronger then she knew she needed to. Hard enough to hit the ceiling and change the course of it's down fall, giving Jess no chance at catching it. Just as she wanted to.
" Oops ! I hope I didn't brake it ! " She said in her best Betty Boop voice.
" Nah, I'm sure you didn't brake it. Those are built from steal now a days. "
" Really ? "
" Sure. "
Intrigued by where their conversation seemed to be heading, Jess decided to really play with her cop and push his limits to their brinks.
She put one hand on her hip and bent front at the waist to pick up Marcus's badge. The collar of her shirt dropped and hung from her neck like a party banner, giving Marcus the best seat in the house. And he saw it all. The Lacey border that her fancy bra was framed in, the heavenly fullness of her tender breast, and the slightest little shadow out lining her erected nipples. He could see all the way to the dip of her belly button. He could see it all.
Her boarder line display of indecent exposure violated and bent Marcus's law almost to a point of him hyperventilating. His already tremor some hands began to vibrated in and around his knuckles. He felt as a young boy once again, walking into the bathroom and accidentally seeing the likes of his mother fully topless at the age of eleven. The innocent connection between the two raised an uninvited feeling of incursion. Shown involuntary, but trespassing upon someone else's space just the same.
Always a sheep, never the wolf, Marcus tried to be a gentleman and shy away from his view. But the more he strained to look away, the harder his body fought to keep sight. Every adult bone that supported his frame stiffened into an perverted stand still.
The whole peep show lasted about as long as it took for a fire cracker to pop. The time from which the fuse was lite to the moment of being startled. Seconds. Just long enough for Marcus to abandoned any kind of good nature he had built to put forth and put in place with an mild sense of degeneracy. Not so drastic that it would entail jail time, but definitely criminal enough to make the towns registry.
As sickening as it might of sounded, Marcus broke free from his eyes perverted gawk. His line of sight slowly climbing up her plunging shirt collar to the slop of her neck and eventually making way up to the most respectable place one can look a person.
But by the time Marcus found her eyes, Jess was starring back at the Tom starring down her shirt. His deviant humor shamefully closed around his embarrassed ego like flower peddles on the verge of dying. The panic of being caught sent his body into a blubbering fit of words as he tried to explain his wondering eyes. His face became flush with a blistering red warmth that ironically sent a cold sweats up and down his body. The cup of hot coffee he held in his hand slide through his fingers like a lathered bar of soap, crashing to the floor and splashed the scalding coffee clear up the side of his pleated pants as he hollered in the manor of a little girl who just saw a bug.
