God, I really need to have some pills on my nightstand. I'm feeling terrible headaches and body aches too. And to add to it, the most terrifying nightmares that I've ever had. Although they're not the one's you can't sleep all night because of it, they're the ones that you're like, really? What the...?
"Leila!" I hear my name being shouted. It's the voice that normally wakes me up almost everyday, except when miracles happen and I'm the one woken up.
"Coming!"
CeCe and I have been living together for like 6 months since we graduated from high school. I remember she saved me in middle school by introducing me to reading. Now, because of her, I don't spend my money on shoes, I spend it all on books. Books were the only thing that didn't feel like hell in high school. I had my first real boyfriend there, not sure if it was 'true love' or just like the infatuations you have in elementary/middle school. So for now, I'd like to stay single, for a long time.
"Hey troublemaker" I say, in a lazily way of course, I just woke up.
"Morning" She replies, but in a really tired way. Well, I think, someone slept late last night.
"I'm not planning on making breakfast..." Yeah, that's normal, when it scares me is when she WANTS to make breakfast, which usually happens, like twice a year. Thanksgiving and christmas. And today I ain't lucky for it to be either of them.
"Breakfast's done!" I shout from the kitchen, shoting some glances at her
seating on the couch watching one of her million's show she's obsessed with.
Breakfast's just cereal. I served her Special K and I served myself Cap n Crunch. My fave cereal since childhood. The only reason of why we are capable of having an apartment here is because her mom is a Doctor and my parents have a restaurant. But soon enough I'll get a job, at least, I hope.
"Soo, any party's?" Cece asks. I laugh. "So, you're in the mood for party's" I wonder why she still wants to go to party's. "Dear, I'm always in the mood for party's, just that, none of them is the right one."
I look at her with a face of seriously? And she nods, with a grin in her face and that look you do when you're thinking something evil. "Mmm, but, we don't have nothing to put on." "Then we ask for something." She gives me the triumphant smile and goes back to her business.
