Chapter 2

Alt's POV

"I've been working at MyMusic for over six months now,and I think I've become good friends with Idol and Metal. Idol's a really nice girl. I kinda wish we could be more than friends,but that'll never happen." I said to the camera.

And it was true. Idol wasn't just "a really nice girl",she was a blessed angel! But she seemed to only like me as a good friend,so I wasn't going to take the risk of flirting. I didn't want to throw away our friendship by risking it all.

I had also become good friends with Metal. He acted all tough around most people,but when it came to his children and Pop,he was a total softie. He's VERY protective of Rayna. He won't let any guy go near her! He would be absolutely furious if he found out about Rayna's little 'boyfriend',Alex.

Alex was a short little British dude that Rayna had been secretly dating for a while. The only reason I knew about it was because I walked in on Rayna and Alex making out in the supply closet yesterday.

"AAAHHH! ALT! It's not-don't tell my dad! Please,I'll do ANYTHING!" Rayna screamed in desperately.

Alex looked pretty scared,too. "Please,don't tell Rayna's dad we were snogging! He'll kill me!" he pleaded.

"I'm not gonna tell! I promise. I don't like to be a snitch. And you're both almost 16,you can live life a little. Your secret's safe with me." I assured them. I shut the door and walked back out to the lunchroom to eat with Metal.

"Hey Metal. So,I hear you and Pop are gonna be celebrating your one-year anniversary of being together! Congratulations,dude! So what are you going to do for the big one-year-iversary,bud?" I asked as soon as I sat down.

Metal looked exited and nervous at the same time."I bought a really good present for her. I think she'll like it."he said.

"What's that present? Anniversary sex?" I said sarcastically.

Metal laughed. "Um,no. I got her this." He smiled and pulled out a tiny red box."I'm gonna ask her to marry me."

EEEK!!! So now Metal's gonna propose to Pop! But I'm gonna warn you,he probably won't actually propose to her until the very last chapter. But it's still exiting! Plus,now Rayna is dating Alex! I actually based Alex's character off of a guy I used to have a crush on back in elementary school. I STILL remember him after all these years. Anyways,I will work on chapter three later tonight.
