Cracks [5]

There was something about you, that you found confusing. Your mental state. Why was it so broken? Was it genetics? Why? What had happened to you...?

You clawed and tugged at your hair as tears began to flood into your mind. You knew.... uh... Berserk.. was watching you, but you couldn't care less. Your mind was in complete ruins, and you couldn't understand why.

'Forget it. Forget it all and it will be alright.'

All you could see when you closed your eyes is a beautiful golden pocket watch, but the time was rapidly going backwards. It was making you dizzy. You got so fed up with the pocket watch infront of your face that you went to grab it and throw it, but you found yourself pinned down. Naturally you panicked and started thrashing around, but you found your legs to be pinned down as well. You felt the tears from earlier start to trickle down your cheeks as a huge weight sat on your chest. Fire started invading your vision, melting the pocket watch.

Then you opened your eyes.

A huge black cat was sitting on your chest, Yuri and Yuya were holding down your arms while Yugo and Yuto were holding your legs. They looked like they went through a huge fight. They had forming bruises on their cheeks and arms. They all stared at you for a few seconds before letting you go and Yuya picked the fat cat off of your chest, allowing you to sit up.

"Man, (y/n). You put up a hell of a fight." Yugo panted, sitting down. They were all panting now that you noticed it, You faintly saw Berserk kneeling beside them, panting as well. Maybe he helped hold you down? You weren't sure.

"What... what happened...?" You whispered, your voice hoarse and your lungs burned as if you had inhaled the fire in your dream.

The boys glanced at each other before Yuto sighed. "You just suddenly started crying, then your hands were ripping at your throat as you started screaming about everything burning, before yelling 'I won't forget' and waking up. You... ah... you struggled quite a bit... punched Yugo in the face... Scratched Yuri's neck... Kicked Yuya's stomach and dug your heel into my ribs.."

Your eyes widened before quickly grabbing Yuri, which he let out a surprised yelp at, and stared at the claw marks on his neck. They were pretty deep for scratch marks for being done by a human. You looked at your nails and frowned. Your nails were too short and not sharp enough for those type of scratches. "Those weren't done by me..." You slowly let go of Yuri.

"(y/n), it's fine, really. We know you didn't mean to do it." Yuya smiled softly.

Yugo nodded. "Plus we saw you go ballistic on Yuri, so those scratch marks were done by you." Everyone groaned, glaring at Yugo who rose his hands in a surrender motion. "Okay, geez! I didn't mean to!"

"I'm sorry... I don't know what came over me..." You checked the damage you did to all of the brothers. Nothing enough to leave bruises or scars, but you really felt bad.

They kept trying to cheer you up before Yuya and Yugo quickly stood up, leaving the room for a minute. Long enough to make you panic, but after a bit, Yuya walked in with a basket of treats, candy and other sweets while Yugo had a large stack of blankets and pillow. At some point Yuri had left your side and turned on the TV, putting in a movie while Yuto was rubbing your back.

"Oh yeah I forgot Yugo got the generator working." Yuya commented, setting the candy down while Yugo made the best fort you've ever seen with all the mattresses, pillows and blankets. Eventually, he finished and everyone climbed in as Yuri pressed play.

Soon enough, you had your head in Yuri's lap as he played with your hair, Yugo was behind you snoring away into your back, Yuya had his head on your stomach while your legs were over Yuto's. You couldn't help but chuckle softly at everyone, your eyes closing in relaxation, loving the feeling of your (h/l) hair being played with. Minutes later you were sleeping happily, although you heard Yuri, Yuto and Yuya quietly murmuring amongst each other as you were drifting off.

After a few hours, you slowly opened your eyes to see the sun just beginning to rise. You glanced around and found the boys had somehow switched spots without you waking. Your head was on Yuya's stomach, Yuri's face... was on your chest, Yugo hadn't moved, and Yuto had his head on your legs. You took the body pillow that was near by and SOMEHOW managed to escape their grasps, replacing your body with the pillow.

"Well done." You heard Berserk comment, sounding as if he had just woken up himself. But you couldn't help but also be proud of yourself for your amazing ninja skills.

You looked around the room and let out a sigh. One by one, you picked up trash and threw it out, picked up blankets and folded them, cleaning the entire room. Once you finished, it looked cleaner then when you came in. You had taken all the dirty clothes and threw them in a basket before taking them to the laundry room.

"I think you press that button.." Berserk pointed to a button as you tried to figure out how the washing machine worked. You pouted, staring at the machine before kicking it. Surprisingly it worked. "Actually how did that work. That had no logic whatsoever."

'We have 3D holograms that we can actually ride. Don't put logic to this universe.' You retorted.

"....Touché."

You snickered before going to clean the kitchen and the living room. As you put away the last plate, you heard Yoko let out a soft squeal of delight. "It's so clean! Did you do this? Oh (y/n) you didn't have to."

You blushed as she hugged you tightly. "I, uh, just wanted to repay the favour, that's all. You let me stay here and everything..."

"Thank you so much, you just saved me an entire day of cleaning." She let you go and you quickly dried your hand and with a nearby towel.

"N-no problem." You giggle sheepishly. "I was just going to fold the laundry-"

"you did the laundry too!?" She stared at you as your blush got darker. "No, you go relax and watch tv. I'll get the laundry for the boys- and no buts about it missy." She said the second you went to complain.

You slowly nodded and sat on the couch, Berserk quietly appearing beside you. 'You haven't been... evil today.' You mentally said to him.

"I saw your dream..."

'is that the only reason?' You watched the news quietly, staring at Berserk in the reflection of the tv.

"I know what happened..."
