You heard your annoying bestfriend's voice.

(A/n: at least he's cute)

"Oh Soonyoung" you said as he reach your side.

Both of you are well known in your school because of your dancing.

"Can y-you help me with something?" He asked "yeah sure what is it?" You said smiling at him.

"I kinda said something to the girls that was bothering me earlier" he said and looked at the floor.

"And what can I help you with that?" You asked

"I told them that your my girlfriend" he said "What?!" You shouted earning a few stares from the students in the hallway. "Please Y/n help me they won't stop bothering me" he said.

Secretly, you really like Soonyoung since you were kids.

"Ok... so... can you explain what are we going to do?" You asked

"Thank you Y/n thank you thank you!" He said while hugging you.

"We just have to act like we're a thing when we're in school specially when E/n is here" he said

"Psh easy" you said and both of you chuckled.

"Let's go to the canteen" He said "Wait I'll just put my books in my locker I'll just follow you there" you said "Ok" he said and you smiled and went to your locker. While you're putting your books back to your locker, E/n came.

"So you're Soonyoung's girlfriend eh" she said.

"Oh E/n I didn't see you coming" you said and smiled at her.

When the students saw you both, they started to gather around you. Knowing that it will be another battle between you and E/n.

"Y/n I'm sorry to say this but Soonyoung is playing with you. He really loves me. Not you." She said

The students started laughing.

You chuckled at what she said and your smiled vanished as you look at her.

"If he really love you, then why did he chose me?" You sarcastically said and walked away. You can still hear the saying of the students of "Burn" or "You lost again".

"We're not done yet Y/n!" She shouted

You made your way to Soonyoung as you saw him in the canteen.

"I already bought your food" he said

"Thank you" you said and sat down.

"Y/n I told you we're not done yet" E/n said while standing in front of you and Soonyoung.

"To be honest. I don't really think you both are dating" she said

"Then don't believe it" Soonyoung said.

"May I have all the attention here please!" She shouted.

All of the students in the canteen looked at her.

"I was told that Y/n and Soonyoung are dating!" She shouted again.

They started cheering for you guys and not bashing.

"Wait what? Aren't you guys angry?!" She shouted.

"Why are we going to be angry? We  always knew that the both of them will be a thing someday!" Jihoon one of your classmates shouted and the cheer grew more louder.

You blushed at what he said and Soonyoung did too.

She stormed out of the canteen and they cheered for the both of you.

A month after.

Your school prom is about to come.

You're currently in your dance class with Soonyoung.

"So class! Our prom is about to come and I want two representatives to dance for the opening ceremony!"
Mr. Bang shouted.

"As the best students in the class, Soonyoung and Y/n you will be partners for the dance" he said and the class was done.

You just have to practice with Soonyoung with just 1 week left.

"What the hell the prom is next week" you said and Soonyoung chuckled.

"Don't worry we got this ok?"

He said and you nodded.

It was already time for the prom. Soonyoung and you have succeed in completing the dance and memorsing it.

Your performance was great.

The whole auditorium aplaused for the both of you.

Before the MC could speak, (Which is Dokyeom and Seungkwan) Soonyoung borrowed the mic which caused all of the students including you, frown

"What is he doing?" You asked yourself.

"Good evening everyone. I just have something to confess before this prom could start" he said and looked at the teachers which gave him a nod meanimg he could continue.

"You all remember that I said that Y/n are me are a thing" he said and the students nodded

"Well that wasn't true... until now" he said.

Your mind tried to process what he just said while the students remained silent.

"Y/n can you come up stage?" He asked you and you went up.

"To be more clear, Y/n isn't my girlfriend then"

He said again

"But now, I wanted to tell her my real feelings for her" he said

"Y/n I really like you since we were kids. Can you give me a chance?" He asked. You couldn't answer because of the sudden confession.

"Y/n! Can you be my girlfriend?" He asked once again and the students including the teacher came cheering for you to say yes.

You hugged him and whispered a yes

"I love you Y/n!" He shouted through the mic

"I love you too!" You shouted and he kissed you
