Here's some background info. Your name is Y/N. You live in New Jersey and are 17 years old. It is summer of your Junior year and you are going to be a Senior in 4 months when school starts. Although you hated school and wished you didn't have to do it, you knew you needed to since your parents wouldn't support you.
Almost forgot. Your dad died when you were young, about 2. After that, your mom starting drinking and doing drugs, story short she go fired from her job. About 10 years after that happened, she finally met a guy. They both got married and lived about a 2 year happy life. Well, as my mom says, "everything must come to an end." Well, it did. They both had a past of drinking and doing drugs and couldn't resist the temptation of doing it again, and they continued to drink and do drugs a lot. Almost 24/7. They no longer cared about you anymore.
You were only 12 when your parents started abusing you. Everyday when you went to school, everyone saw the bruises and marks on you from your parents. They also saw the cuts that you would make on yourself because you were so depressed. They would make fun of you. They would tell you, "No one likes you!" or "Want a razor blade sweetie?!" sometimes "Fuck off punching bag!" and even "Go die. No one would care." You had to deal with this from 6th to Sophomore year. The only thing that got you through those rough 5 years was your best friend Hazel. She ended up moving to L.A. half-way through Junior year. And it was awful without her.
(Now we are up to date.) You couldn't take it anymore. It was the last day of Junior year and you had a plan you thought was golden.
