"So... Jace... anything new?" I ask slowly. I think Jace is nervous because when he doesn't have to think to much about something, he is pretty straight forward with his life.
"Um, no, not really." he says with a soft slow tone.
"Is everything ok Jace you seem kind of... nervous," I say expecting him to reply slowly but he blurts out something so fast that I couldn't understand what he said.
"Jace you know I hate it when you mumble and now are rambling so fast I didn't even understand what you said, so say what you were going to say but say is soft and calm so I know what your saying." I tell him
Right as he is about to speak, Nicole and her boyfriend Jimmy pull up next to us in Jimmy's red mustang and Nicole tells him to turn down the radio and he does so.
"Sup losers," Nicole says in a playful tone
"Walking cause we missed the bus waiting for you," I snap at her. Sometimes I just want to take a cake full of reality and shove it in her face!
"We'll someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed or did someone pee in your orange juice?"
"No just some bitch decided to leave us for a dumbass, that's all!" I say with a harsh tone
"Wow... um...Aves I think we should get going," Jace says trying to make sure I don't attack Nicole. I know Jace is looking out for me and I love him for that.
I glare at Nicole and Jace and I walk off down the street before Nicole and Jimmy drive the other way putting their hands out of the window flipping us off.
"Thanks for saving me back there Jace, I really owe you"
"How about going to the dance with me this saterday" he blurts out
"Umm... ya sure." I say awkwardly
"So I'll be at your house at 6:00 and I could maybe take u out for dinner before the dance, ya?"
"Ya, sounds great!" I answer
" So do u want to skip first period and go to Starbucks, I'll pay?"
"Sure why not," I reply. As we are walking to Starbucks we r pretty quiet so I turn on some music and Wiggle by Jason Derulo comes on and then after that it's pretty awkward!
