Chapter 2: Team Fantasy is born

~3 hours after the events of chapter 2 Razor POV~

I slowly began to wake up rubbing my forehead while I begin to open my eyes looking around. It looked like a kind of wooden cabin of sorts.

At first I was confused on how I even got here then my eyes widen and started looking for Maria. I then heard a soft snore, looking down to my left I saw her sleeping next me.

I took a slight sigh of relief but it was short lived as I immediately jumped out of the bed blushing red realizing that Maria and I were sleeping together.

As I was calming down a bit and my blush started to disappear I heard a door open behind me. I Immediately turned around only to see a Lucario carrying a basket full of oran berries.

"Ah, your awake." He said closing the door behind him.

I looked at him slightly cautious standing in front of the napping Maria.

"Please, Don't be alarmed. I am the one who saved you and your friend." He said raising his paw while putting down the berry basket.

As I was starting to calm down, I heard a soft yawn. I looked back to see Maria slowly sitting up and stretching and slowly opening her eyes to look around.

"Huh? How did I get her- OW!" She yelled quickly grabbing her arm with was bandaged up slightly.

"Easy now, your still not fully healed after that attack. Here take this." He said tossing two oran berries for me to catch in my pinchers.

"You two eat up you'll need your energy for the trip to the next city as Team Fantasy." He said sitting down on a wooden chair.

"Team Fantasy? Wait did you create our team?!" I said looking at him surprised.

"My apologies. I didn't mean to intrude but I over heard your conversation before you met those other pokèmon." He said putting a paw on his chest closing his eyes.

"I...I actually really like the name and he did just save us from those guys back there. It only seems fair." Maria said slowly standing up eating her oran berry.

"I thank you for your kindness." He said opening his eyes with a smile on his face.

"We never got you name by the way. What should we call you?" I asked finishing my oran berry which made me feel a little less sore.

"I am known as Anubis." He said standing up grabbing a bag full of different kinds of berries.

"So are you two ready to go to Veilstone city?" He asked putting the bag on his back.

We both nod and begin to head out the door and towards Veilstone city.

Once we arrived at Veilstone city Maria immediately took the lead and began to look around for something. For about an hour. Anubis leaned over to me and began to whisper to me.

"Is she well. She's been having that same expression for a while now." He asked me still looking toward her.

"You're asking the wrong guy. I barely understand most of the stuff she does. I could try talking to her but that never ends well." I said walking towards her.

I leaned over her shoulder and whispered.

"Hey, Maria?" I asked looking at her raising a brow.

She didn't respond still looking forward.

I sighed heavily before I just screamed in her ear.

"WHAT IN THE FUCK ARE WE DOING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET?!"
