mika: i'm sorry jerry but, we can't be together anymore.

We went to sleep.
Alex's POV
I woke up to a face full of hair.
Alex: AHHH!!
Mika: AHHH!!
Alex: Sorry I'm not used to waking up with a face full of hair.
Mikayla's POV
Yes, we slept on my bed together and kinda sorta cuddled in our sleep.
We went downstairs.
Mika: Morning.
Mom: Morning sweetie. I know first question should be how are you but why is Alex here. Do his parents know?
Mika: Yes mom. They do.
Alex: Sorry I just wanted to stay over for a day.
Mom: No no no it's ok. As long as you keep her away from Jerry and Fatima, I'm perfectly ok with you being here.
We went upstairs to change. I went to the bathroom to straighten my hair since it's naturally wavy. But I straighten it a lot so sometimes it's already straight.
I was there for 15-20 min.
Alex: What's taking so long? I need to peeee.
Mika: Hold on!
Alex: Ughh. Hurry up!! What are you doing in there?
Mika: Straightening my hair!
Alex: Whyyyy. You look fine! I really need to go!
Mika: Well I really need to finish!
Alex: Do it in your room!
Mika: I kinda sorta need a mirror!

He ran into the bathroom.

He went downstairs when he finished.
Mika: Park?
Alex: Sure.
Ashton: Can I come too?
Alex: Why not?
Mom: If he's going then Hunter and Brandon are going too.
Hunter: Sorry mom, can't. I have a full day planned with Loren today. She's coming over any minute now.
Mika: Why don't you be a gentleman and pick her up.
Hunter: Because you never know when she's gonna be ready. And I don't want to wait outside like an hour.
Mom: Fine then, Brandon you go with Mikayla and Ashton.
Alex: What am I? Chopped liver?
Brandon: Yeahhh about that. I got a date with Kenzie today so I can't make it to your little park thing.
Mom: What time will you be going?
Brandon: Whenever Loren gets here. So Hunter can drop me off at Kenzie's and we can take an Uber.
Mom: Ok then Ashton you can't go.
Ashton: What!! C'mon!!
Mom: Enough is enough. You are going with me grocery shopping and wherever I want to go.
Ashton: That's not fair.
Dad: Or we can have a dad and Ashton day?
Ashton: Yeah!
Mika: Mom, Ashton is 11. If dad wasn't here there would be no such thing as dad and Ashton day. He's old enough to go with me.
Mom: He always goes with you.
Mika: Without Brandon and/or Hunter?
Ashton: Once you think about it, she's right.
Mika: Ashton, I'm always right. Well you can go with dad while me and Alex go to the park. Bye losers.
Everyone: Bye.
We started to walk to the park and we found a nide shady spot to sit down.
Alex: I love the park.
Mika: Me too. It's always so nice and fresh because of all the trees here.
Alex: Unless it's like 100 degrees.
Mika: True. Whenever it's that hot, I would stay inside all day until the days start getting cooler. If there so hapoens to be a blackout, and there is no AC, I'd go to the pool or a beach. Even though I hate the beach. I would just sit in the water.
Alex: Why do you hate the beach?
Mika: Oh Alex, it's true, we haven't seen each other in such a long time.
Alex: What could possibly be so bad about the beach anyways?
Mika: When you go in the water and you step out, the sand gets stuck on your feet, sand gets in your swimsuit and when you step out to go change, there is sand in your swimsuit and it's stuck to your body and it gets so rashy you have to wait to get home and have a nice, long, non-sandy, shower.
Alex: Everything about that is true except for the sand in your swimsuit. It never happens to guys.
Mika: Well lucky you.
I look around and I see an old friend of mine.
Mika: Garrett?
Alex: Which Garrett?
Mika: Garrett Albritton.
Alex: Garrett Albritton? As in my cousin?
Mika: I don't know but I used to have a huge crush on Garrett.
Garrett: Oh hey Mika! I haven't seen you in a while. How have you been?
Mika: Good, you?
Garrett: Alex? What are you doing here?
Alex: Having a nice day at the park with my bestfriend. And you?
Garrett: Same. Just not about the bestfriend part. I'm here alone.
Mika: Supposably, you guys are cousins?
Garrett: We are. Remember that huge crush you had on me and I thought you were crazy?
Mika: Well, not exactly but yeah. Why?
Garrett: Now that I think about it, you're not so crazy anymore. I actually kinda sorta liked you.
Alex: Ha! You and Mika? Date? I just got her out of a horrible relationship.
Garrett: Alexander Alvarez got you out of a relationship? Really?
Mika: Kinda glad we broke up.
Mika: We could always try. But I just broke up with Jerry. I know I'm ready but I don't really wanna go back to dating yet. When I'm ready I'll text you.
Garrett: Can I have your number?
Mika: ***-***-****.
Garrett: Alright thanks.
Garrett: Mind if I stay here a while?Alex: Yes very very much.
Mika: Nope not at all.
Alex: Get ready for his 12 billion questions.
Mika: Alright, I'm gonna count then.
Alex: You're so dumb.
Mika: I know. You know, it's been a while since I've talked to Fatima. I should get back to her.
