"So, I guess you don't get along well with women?" I teased, nudging him while we walked back to my house.

"I-it's not that don't get along with women. I'm friends with a lot, it's the fact that I turned out..."

"Turned out what Julian?" I coaxed, trying to get him to finish his sentence.

"Turned out to be a twink," he whispered looking away. "I came out of the closet about a week ago and my mother who is a devout Christian was utterly gobsmacked. Since then, she's been trying to set me up with a different woman every day," he explained. "She thinks that I'll find one I fancy but I just won't. I... I like men, and I'm going embrace that," he declared, staring directly into my eyes.

"So... do you have a boyfriend?" I asked while sitting on my bed.

"Yes I do but he lives in New Delhi. Why do you ask?" Julian questioned suspiciously while sitting in a bean bag chair.

Closing my eyes, I realized I had to help him and come up with a plan. "I just had a thought. What if he came here to London, England? You can go on dates and introduce him to your mom. She needs to accept who you are Julian. It's not right," I responded, with determination.

"Andrea, I'm thankful that you're trying to help me and all but my mum isn't going to change her mind," he exhaled.

"We have to try," I insisted seriously, feeling a passion burning in me. "We still have to try."
