"The way you make me feel

Will never leave my mind"

-Every Avenue, Think of You Later

"You're enjoying this, eh?" Melanie whispered slyly, her arm wrapped through mine. I felt my cheeks go warm, and when Evan looked up at me with a smile so excited and childlike it made Melanie squeal, they went a bright red. He waved, then Josh tugged on the rope so hard he went flying, making Melanie crack up as I covered my mouth with my hands to hide my giggles.

They had decided to play Human Foosball, which I had originally thought would be a lot less fun to watch than it turned out to be. It was probably the weirdest thing I'd seen in a long time, but I couldn't help but think that Mason would be over the moon playing it. Everyone in each line were attached at the waist by a rope, there were six lines in total with four people per line. Every time a person moved, the others in the line would stumble and fall on the smooth ice making up the floor of the arena. On either side of the arena, there was a rope connecting to each line of people for the viewers of the game to mess with it. If you pulled on it hard enough, they'd all lose their balance and fall.

Needless to say, Melanie was getting a kick out of making Evan fall over.

I watched as he stood up, brushing the snow off of his jeans and shaking his head at Josh, who was laughing at him. Melanie leaned against my side, looking up at me with a smile. "Dude," she said. "He got really hot in the past few years."

I rolled my eyes, my cheeks flushing brighter as Evan sent the soccer ball flying back towards the other team, promptly stumbling and falling on his behind again. He looked disgruntled, and Melanie cackled as she hopped on the barrier. "Hey klutzy!" she shouted, and he looked up, lips spreading into an amused smile. "You're a lot more clumsy than you look onscreen!"

"Probably," he called back with a grin, letting out a small scream as Josh lunged for the ball, pulling Evan along behind him. He crashed into the older boy's legs, making me laugh as Josh fell on top of them, both of them letting out rather feminine screams as they got yanked around by their teammates. Melanie grinned as she grabbed the rope loop in the wall and yanked, sending the two boys skidding towards the wall.

My hands flew up to cover my giggles as Evan hit the wall, groaning as Josh's elbow hit his spine. Laughing, the referee blew a whistle and skated over to them, kneeling. I couldn't hear what he said, but Josh started laughing loudly and Evan looked sheepish as he stood up. Melanie flashed an innocent smile as she yanked the rope again, sending him back to the ground. He landed on his back and glared up at her, making her laugh harder as she blew him a kiss.

When the ref blew the whistle again to signal the end of the game, Evan easily unlatched himself and headed for the stairs. As he jogged up, Melanie tugged on the rope again, sending Josh sprawling across the ice. He stood up, pointing at her. "I haven't signed you yet!" he called threateningly, making her laugh as she winked at him, only to squeal as Evan grabbed her by the waist and swung her into the air. He shook her lightly, holding back laughter as she let out a short scream of laughter, gripping his forearms tightly.

"You think you're funny?" he demanded, shaking her once more. Squealing, she shook her head frantically, giggling so hard she wasn't breathing properly, little gasps between laughs. He shook her again, chuckling as he lowered her, only to have her wrap her arms around his neck and cling there for dear life. When he turned to me, his nose crinkled up as he laughed, eyes sparkling as he patted her on top of the head. I smiled at him, shaking my head.

"Never knew you were so clumsy, Evan." I teased lightly, and he grinned, shaking his finger in my face. "You're light enough that I can throw you too," he teased, motioning to my little sister, who was still clinging to his neck.
