In the midst of July,
I watched as you cried,
Hidden under soft satin sheets,
We shared our goodbyes,
Under the pale moonlight,
Just too afraid to speak.
Down in December,
Snow kisses the ground,
And I hope you still remember,
How we laughed and sang,
Enjoying the moment,
But right now.
Back in mid-February,
I watched as you died,
Beneath the bright moonlight,
And I screamed out,
Somehow my love still grows.
