Hoseok stood there for 5 whole minuets in silence, you can wait. You want to know why you were stabbed and what the hell was happening.
And you will refuse to talk to him until he explains, you hate not knowing things.
One of the things you're really good at is keeping secrets. He knows that, so if he's considering whether to tell you or not it must be important. And honestly, you wouldn't normally intrude but nothing interesting has happened to you in years and after all Hoseok knows about you and your horrifying past you deserve to know a little about him, don't you?

"You got stabbed because Jungkook was being a bastard..." Hoseok say with a hint of irritation in his voice. "He called for help to save his own skin, and you just happened to be the unlucky person walking by."

"To save his own skin? Was the other man trying to kill him?"

"Yes, Jungkook put himself in a dangerous situation and fucked up, he knew if he called for someone else the other man would run, but the other man stabbed you out of panic. And I think Jungkook knew he would do that, It meant you couldn't run after him."

You try to figure out what he's on about but you have no clue. Does Hoseok know who the man was? Is this some gang shit?

"Hoseok, what's going on, are you in a gang?"

"I'm not in a gang, no. It's a- well... fuck it I'll tell you, I trust you enough and you've told me some bad shit before.  I work for a secret police department and we investigate bad people Y/N, I'm talking people who should have life sentences for what they've done, the man that stabbed you was working for one of those men. Jungkook has been getting close to him for 3 months to get information, yesterday he tried to find out crucial information and the man clocked on with what Jungkook was doing. The mans name is Kim Yung, and he brings in guns for his leader, Min Yoongi. He's a gang leader and a very dangerous one at that."

You couldn't say anything. Hoseok? Working for a secret police department? Since when? And this stuff sounded really serious.

"How long have you been in this Hoseok?"

"Since I was born, my dad runs the department."

"I see. You've told me to much haven't you." You didn't ask as a question, you know he shouldn't have told you this but he's right, you've told him something terrible about yourself. "What now?"

"It's up to you, we're looking for more help. Seeing as I've already told you so much and I know you so well, I'll give you this offer. Either walk away and never mention this again, or, join us."

Did he just ask you to join a secret organisation that is extremely important let alone dangerous. This is a serious question.

"I know you're able Y/N. You did rifle shooting with me for 5 years so you can use a gun, you are smart, you have amazing senses and are brilliant at reading people even after meeting them once. You be great asset to the team. You also have experience in these situations, this isn't new to  you."

"I-, what do you want me to say Hoseok, do you think I should say yes?"

"I believe you'd be a great help, so yes."

"Then I'll trust you with this decision, yes, I'll help."

Hoseok left the hospital as he had exams, this left you plenty of time to think over what you just agreed too. Was this too much, no Y/N, believe in yourself.
He's right, you shoot really well, but not at people, will this involve that? Considering what he said, yes. You're top of your classes but will that help in a situation like this? You don't know, all you know is that you are now involved in something you know nothing about. It shouldn't be but this whole situation is extremely exiting. And he's right, you have experience in this field, it isn't new to you in the slightest.

Today is Saturday, you are finally leaving the hospital after 5 days of rest, even you got tired of the food the hospital supplies, you want ramen. Hoseok waits outside for you to get discharged and opens the passenger door when he sees you walk out.

"Hello angel, where's that smile I dearly love?"

"Good morning Y/N, I need to talk to to about things, come on and get in." He say seriously but with I soft smile.

"Yes sir!" You reply with a wink whilst walk past him and sliding into the passenger seat. Hoseok goes around the car slamming his door as he gets is.

"We need to go to the office, I'd like you to meet someone. I'll take you home to tidy yourself up and make sure you want to do this."

You nod and without hesitation, "I'm sure."

Hoseok looks at you for a few seconds studying your face, he knows you're serious. Just as soon as he turns away he's starts driving.

Since you've been driving for around an hour, you've had time to think. You know you shouldn't have agreed to this, at all. You shouldn't even know about it. But something about it, something feels right. You're so sick of your current life and it's not like gangs are anything new to you, not after your past. You need to do something. Something like this. Something that will get your blood pumping.

"We're here." Hoseok says as you pull up outside of your apartment block. "Should I wait outside or?"

"It's ok, you can come in." This will be the perfect opportunity to ask who your meeting so you can prepare yourself properly. You know, make a good impression. "So, who am I meeting? Smart suit? You ask whilst walking towards you wardrobe.

"My dad and head of firearms and self defence, yes, smart suit."
You nod to Hoseok and collect the appropriate attire from your wardrobe and head into the bathroom to change. You come out in a smart white blouse with a pair of skin tight black fitted trousers, a smart black blazer and your hair tied in the neatest pony tail you could attempt.

"Good enough?"

Hoseok smiles, "good enough."

You head back out to the car trying your best not to rush because your wound is still healing.

"So, who's head of self defence and firearms?"

"Kim Namjoon, you met him the other day I believe, the one that was taller than Jungkook?"

"Yes, I met him, briefly."

"Yeah well that's him, he was sorry for leaving you but he couldn't just bring a stranger into the head quarters, that could've ended badly."

"Right, so, why am I meeting him as well as your father?"

"Namjoon is a very important person to you, he will teach you everything he knows before you can get in on the action. You'll learn how to shoot, at people, not clay pigeons. You'll re-learn self defence techniques that will help in many situations. And he will teach you what to do when the worst happens."

You nod at Hoseok and proceed to look out of the car window, yes, what he just said was very understandable, you did need to re-learn these things, it's been so long. Also considering the fact you're surprisingly weak from months of nothing but studying and sleeping. Thank god you were graduating soon.

You notice the scenery outside of the car changing, from a busy, well cared for street to a derelict road with very few people. You turn a corner and drive towards what looks like a warehouse.

As you're approaching it Hoseok presses a button on the dashboard and the gates ahead of you open. 'Cool!'

"Where are we?"

"The entrance to the headquarters." He says whilst looking over at you. "Cool right?"

"Super cool." You reply with a smile.

"Wait until you see inside." And just as he says that, the 'warehouse' doors swing open revealing a drive in entrance that is somewhat like a multi storey car park, as you drive in further you see that it is. On each level there's different doors and windows, your guessing are the different departments. You can see people either working at desks or having conversations with a cup of coffee in hand, each level you go down the more serious their work looks, and you're going straight to to bottom.
