"Nubia make sure you dress nicely I already picked out a white dress for you with matching shoes and don't act a fool this guy seemed to really like you so don't fuck it up" Nubia's mother said giving Nubia a hard glare 

Nubia nodded and started changing into the clothes her mother picked out for her when she was done she walked downstairs to see a man maybe a couple years older then her talking with her mother and father.

"ah look James this is my daughter Nubia" Nubia's mother said introducing them Nubia gave James a fake smile and politely shacked his hand.

"nice to finally meet you your mother told me so much about you" James said not taking his eyes of Nubia. 

"it's nice to meet you too" Nubia said not really caring much she just wanted this day to be over with. After hours and hours of talking Nubia found out that James owns 4 car company's and 2 restaurants he was basically a very rich man he didn't have kids lives on his own was looking to settle down with a nice woman but Nubia didn't really waned anything to do with him he wasn't her type and a little too clingy. 

"so Nubia we should go on a date just the 2 of us cause I can see that we really fit good together" James told Nubia. Nubia gave him a straight face not saying anything. 

"of course Nubia would love to go on a date right honey" Nubia's mother said Nubia just nodded and started eating after awhile someone knocked on the door. 

"I'll get it" Nubia's father said and went To go answer the door. Nubia heard a voice she knew all to well 'Angela she thought' Nubia stood up and walked to the door to see Angela when she walked closer she saw that Angela had been crying and immediately pushed her father out of the way and held Angela's hand cause she knew something bad must have happened because Angela rarely shows emotion like this. 

"Angela what's wrong" Nubia asked Angela. Angela took a deep breath and explained "Isaiah is in the hospital he was shot and beat up he won't wake up" Angela said now crying hysterically Nubia gasped and thought she heard Angela wrong.

"he's what no that can't be he was with me this morning" Nubia said feeling the tears in her eyes she couldn't believe this he was with her just a couple of hours ago.

Nubia was pulled back roughly by her father she tried to get out of his grip but he smacked her this send Nubia over the edge and she punched her father so hard you could hear a cracking noise.

"DON'T TOUCH ME" Nubia screamed making her mother and James run in their direction.

"what is going on here" Nubia's mother said looking around noticing her husband covering his nose and Angela standing by the door. 

"I have to go" Nubia said attempting to walk out of the door but her mother stopped her by grabbing her arm and spinning her around.

"were do you think your going you have company you can't just leave" her mother said giving Nubia a daring look.

"I'm so sorry James but i have to go" Nubia said trying to walk out but James stopped her. Nubia turned around angry that everybody is standing in her way from getting to Isaiah.

"it's kind of disrespectful to leave your guest and talk to your parents like that and what is so important that you have to leave me" James said looking angry that Nubia just wants to leave. 

"if you all must know my boyfriend is in the hospital and I need to get to him" Nubia said and walked out of the door with Angela behind her. Before Nubia could get into the car James pulled her back with force and started pulling her back to the house he wasn't gonna let her go so another man could have her she was his he thought.
