"Get in loser. We're going shopping." I smiled as we drove by Casey's house. "Just kidding! We're going on a road trip!"

Casey has light brown hair and wears square "geek chic" glasses. We both have the same style and same attitude; we're basically the same person. I guess that's why she is my bestfriend.

I had already picked up my other two good friends that were going with us, Emma and Paityn. They were best friends, also. They were just like Casey and I. They were the same person, which is the complete opposite of me.

At the beginning of senior year, we were able to convince our parents to let us take a year off before we go to college. It took quite a bit of convincing, but after promising to work on my cheerleading my mom said it was fine and even gave me 1,000 dollars and a credit card in which they had already put 2,000 dollars on. So now, we were on a five hour car ride in my brand new convertible to San Diego.

"Oh my god. Did you hear about Kendall?" Casey all of a sudden screached.

"Yes! I can't believe she started dating her best friends ex-boyfriend. Who does that?" Emma laughed.

"No one does. Ex-boyfriends are off-limits to friends. That's just, like, the rules of feminism," I quoted Mean Girls again.

"What is up with you and quoting mean girls?" Casey laughed.

"They just come to me," I shrugged laughing.

I can't wait to get to San Diego in three hours. The car ride will be long, but that beach will be all worth it.

Tyler

"Hey dude," Zeke said walking up to me and giving me the typical bro handshake.

"So who's virginity are you going to take this summer?" James asked smirking.

"I don't know dude. But the girls love the abs and we're going to the beach, so..." I laughed at them.

"Yeah, we know. And so does our whole school," Brandon laughed.

They nodded along and I turned up the radio station.

We are currently on our way to San Diego where we are renting out a beach house. I just hope we get some hot girls moving in next door and not some old ladies. My mom was reluctant to let me go, but after I got suspended from school, again, she let me go. She said something about how it will make me change my ways. I don't know. All I know is that she called my dad and he willingly handed over 5,000 dollars for me to use for the year. Anything other than that and I would have to find a way to pay for the rest.

Way to go, mom and dad, note the sarcasm.

LA is about three hours from San Diego and we left about an hour ago. In two hours we will be stepping foot in San Diego and laying out on the beach, flirting on hot girls. Oh how this summer will be great.

Three Hours Later (Still Tyler)

Zeke, James, Brandon and I all made it to San Diego about an hour ago. We are currently playing football on the beach, ignoring the desperate girls who approached us. I so don't do desperate.

The four of us have decided that we will play football for about two hours and then head inside to get ready for a club. We may be eighteen, but their is this wonderful thing called fake ids and as long as the club knows, I'm 21.

Delilah

"Oh it's about time!" I yelled jumping out of my car and grabbing my keys along with me. We just made it to San Diego after driving for almost five hours. It was a long drive and was very tidius. I wanted to die! But now that we are here, it was all worth it.
