Tyler
Last night, I decided that I wanted to take Delilah out on a date. Knowing that she wouldn't willingly go on a date, I was forced to kidnap her. So that's exactly what I did.
At precisely 9:30 in the morning, I walked over to her house to pick her up. I knocked on the door, but there was no answer.
"Go get it, Casey!"
"No, these abs are intriguing!"
I pressed my ear to the door listening in on the conversation. When I realized that they weren't going to answer the door, I started ringing the doorbell nonstop.
"If you continue with this annoying ringing, I'm never gonna answer the door!" Delilah yelled.
When she opened the door, I threw her over my shoulder and shut the door. She hit my back and flung her legs, but I was not letting go. Finally I got her into my car.
She wasn't very happy with me and started protesting. After five minutes of us bickering, she shut her mouth sighing.
I turned the radio up and out of the corner of my eye, saw Delilah singing along. I smiled and continued driving to the first stop of many.
"McDonalds? Seriously?" Delilah screamed.
"Calm down there is more to come."
"No Tyler. I don't want to be here with you. You couldn't even pick somewhere fancy!"
I chuckled.
"With what you are wearing, we wouldn't even be allowed to step into a fancy restaurant."
"I happen to like these clothes. They are comfortable."
"Hurry up and order something."
"I can't eat fake meat."
"Then don't get anything, but we aren't eating until at least five hours from now."
She sighed. "I'll have hash browns, a fruit parfait, and a large sweet tea."
"I'll have an egg mcmuffin, hash browns, and a water cup."
"That'll be 10.18 please," the cashier said holding out her hand.
Since when was McDonalds so expensive? Reluctantly I pulled out a ten dollar bill and 18 cents, handing it over. Five minutes later and our order was called. I picked it up and walked back to the booth that Delilah sat down in.
"So where are you taking me after this oh so classy breakfast?"
"Well my dear, Delilah, we will be going back into my car and then I'll be taking you somewhere."
"Wow, descriptive."
I smirked, "Only the best for the best."
"Why did you have to get me at 9:30 in the morning though?"
"I knew you were up because you were running."
"What about asking the girl to go on the date? What happened to that custom?"
"And would you come if I asked you?"
"No."
"My point exactly."
Delilah sighed and then started to eat her food. We held a conversation that ranged from small dogs to glasses. I have to say, she is a lot of fun to talk to.
When she was done, I grabbed our trash and threw it away. Holding my hand out for Delilah to grab, I pulled her up and dragged her out the door to my car.
