My first four classes were good. I met a lot of good people who were very welcoming, I walk into the busy cafeteria where I saw Millie wave her hand up at me. I walk over to her and sit beside her and act very shy which I was.

"This is bullshit! How come we can let a guy in our group but as soon as I want to bring my uncle into it, you guys strictly said no!" A boy with short hair complains.

"Jack, you uncle was Fifthy. And Thylane is nice" Sophia smiles.

"Thank you" I smile.

"What about Finn? You know jerk who gets off on hurting girls like Thylane" Wyatt says.

"Your an ass too Wyatt" Jaeden says.

"Says a lot" Wyatt smirked.

"Wyatt's right, Finn is mean" Millie says.

"What about me?"  A husky voice asks behind me. I look up at everyone their expressions like mine, I turn around to see a tall figure stand looking down at me his black skinny jeans snug on him and his white tee shirt with a red flannel button up. I was next to his crotch which made me blush even more. His brown eyes look down at mine and curly hair fall between his eyes. He was tall probably taller than me.

"Nevermind you're already here" Sophia groans.

"Ouch" He smirks.

"I'm Finn" he looks over at me unamused.

I wave and look back at everyone, he didn't say a word to me for the rest of the lunch period, I didn't blame him. I was nice, kind, smart, hates people like him, were polar opposite and we'd probably stay that way, I couldn't see myself hanging out with Finn in the future.

I step inside of my room plop down on the floor as I sigh in relief. I made it today, no crying, no freak ours nothing just pure goodness. I didn't talk to Finn, in any of my classes, and sure not to make eye contact, which failed we stared at one another in art and we completely didn't break the stare.

"Thylane!" My mother Véronika knocks.

"Yeah?" I asks.

"How was it?" She asked opening the door.

"Good, I made some friends. Millie having me spend the night with Sophia and Chloe so that will be exciting" I smile standing up.

"Are they good girls? Do they do drugs?" She asks.

"What?! No, Mother they aren't like that" I say looking at her.

"I just want to make sure you're friends with good people" She says.

"I am, trust me" I say.

She nods and leaves me alone in my unpacked bedroom. This will be a long night.

Next evening.

I hold my bag in my hand as I wait for Millie outside. She said she will be picking me up soon so I shoved my phone in my old Nirvana hoodie pocket. Today still, nothing said from Finn just stares and glances. He obviously didn't enjoy me and I didn't either, whenever I walk into a class he looks up at me then groans like he's annoyed by me.

"You coming!?" Millie yells at me.

I look up and nod.

I open the passenger side door and sit down no word said out of. I was very quiet around people, maybe because of my accent, or how I can't keep a conversation going. I look over at Millie who kept her eyes on the road and lip sync to song that was playing on the radio.

"So bad news, Chloe had to bring her boyfriend with which is Finn! But don't worry he won't bother you he's a quiet" She says.

"It's fine" I lie. It was most definitely not Finn I had to come of course! The person the must hate must join us for a "girls" sleepover which is now girls and Finn. I'm just going to have fun with the girls and ignore Finn's eyes for all the cost.

"I'm back! Thylane is here!" Millie yells.

Her house was huge and amazing, the living room had pillows blankets and food. I smile and step into the living, I look over at Finn who looked back, remember Thylane ignore his eyes. I sit down on the opposite side of the couch and pull my knees to my chest.

"Thylane, it's important to us that we know who you think is hot" Chloe laughs.

I look up and meet Finn's glance, I smirk before replying.

"Jaeden, he's helpful and has amazing taste in music" I smile.

"Damn Jaeden's lucky" Finn remarks.

"What does that mean?" I ask.

"He gets to fuck a French girl, what the hell do you think I mean" He says looking at me.

"I'm a virgin so" I say.

"So even better for him" He says.

"Guys" Millie says before things get out of hand.

"Maybe I should message Jaeden, there's a guest bedroom here" Finn smirks.

"Finn" Sophia says punching his arm.

I glare at him and he smiles at me, he's so rude! I don't think I'll make it through tonight without me slapping him.
