When I had heard about party, I imagined everything but that. We had left a few hours earlier, I could talk to Esther but she had work to do so it was pretty short. Jeremy had told me to find him in front of the entrance of the college at 22 hours and despite my reluctance and my doubts, I finally told myself why not. Not that I wanted to find anyone or anything, I was just curious enough. Then a little party from time to time did not hurt. I had lived some in high school. But partys with wizards never go in the right direction, usually potions and spells eventually make the night too dangerous and it becomes a mess. Nevertheless, I was a little anxious, Jeremy told me that it was not really an party like the others ... What should I expect? Anyway I had opted for a simple look; I had kept my skinny slim black jeans and had a burgundy shirt with my black coat, a scarf and my favorite pair of lace-up ankle boots. My mother was not home when I came home earlier, but I used to see her go away for more than a day. Yet the events of the day before me remained in mind.

She needed support as I needed my mother. While waiting for Jeremy, I started to watch the night. It was cool but it was bearable, I could use a spell to warm me up but thinking back to mom's comments, living a normal life did not hurt. The night was comfortable in the sense that there was little light and nobody around me, yet the reflection of the moon and the only lamp post that was nearby brought me comfort. Anyway, I was not of a natural way to be easily scared. When I saw a figure coming towards me, I went to meet him, it was Jeremy.

"Sorry for the wait, I had some things to do."

"Oh you know, it's not just women who like to be kept waiting," I joked.

He smiled at me and guided me to a dark alley. If I didn't know him at all, I would have thought he wanted to kill me so much the streets he passed me were narrow and dark.

"We have a little walk before we arrive, but don't worry you'll be there soon" he reassured me.

"And so you often go to parties "like no other?" I asked him.

"I really like experimenting with new things," he confessed.

"Esther and Holy have always been a comfort to me, their innocence, their kindness or even their smiles ..." he began. "In truth the universe I'm taking you to is completely different, and maybe it's a mistake for me to share it with you," he said, stopping.

"We all have strange passions or secrets that we are afraid to disclose," I reassured him, thinking of myself. "There's nothing to be ashamed of and I love new experiences too," I replied winking at him, though I was not sure he saw it in the dark. "But I would like to go back to my house in ony piece please" I finnaly joked.

"You're adorable, I wonder where Esther found you," he laughed.

He did not see it, but his compliment made me blush slightly. He was doing it too easily.

"And here it is, pretty, we have arrived! He said, pointing to an old warehouse that looked abandoned.

"Uh ..."

"It sure does not look like entering a charity gala, follow me! "

We arrived in front of a decrepit door, Jeremy knocked three times and then added a fourth after waiting a few seconds. A small sliding window opened and a man looked at us, Jeremy smiled. We heard what appeared to be two three bolts before the door opened in full, it looked heavy.

"Jeremy, it's been a long time," said a man who must have been around thirty, looking menacing and exhausted.

"Fred, you have not changed, still grumpy at what I see," Jeremy answered, still smiling.
